Huddle Up: As chronicled in this week's Targets, Touches and TDs column, Evans has fallen off his torrid mid-season pace rather drastically, catching only 17 passes for 203 yards and 4 TDs over the past five games. Opposing defenses seem to have caught up with the rookie, and now he'll have to make the necessary adjustments to up his game heading into Year No. 2. Of course, a dependable QB in Tampa wouldn't hurt, either.

Huddle Up: Evans has emerged as a weekly WR1. He has caught at least for passes in every game he's played this season.

Huddle Up: If anything, Evans has been consistent, finishing with exactly 4 receptions in each of his last 5 games and drawing between 7 and 9 targets in 5 of his 6 contests. Vincent Jackson wasn't traded Tuesday and remains very much in the mix, but Evans was the first draft pick of the new Tampa regime and expect to see his workload bumped up during the second half of the season.

Huddle Up: The rookie sat out the Week 5 loss to the Saints, but is on an early track to return Sunday. See if he's able to maintain his momentum the rest of the week.

Huddle Up: As expected, Evans won't play this week. Louis Murphy will start in his place. Even with the Saints struggling on defense, Murphy is nothing more than a WR4/5 for fantasy owners.

Huddle Up: Louis Murphy will start in Evans' absence. He had six receptions for 99 yards against the Steelers on Sunday. Murphy will be a WR4/5 over the next couple of weeks until Evans returns.

Huddle Up: Doesn't really sound like much of anything to be concerned about on the surface, but further details may come out that warrant NFL discipline.
