Updating a previous report, the Oakland Raiders will be saving $30 million in real money with DT Richard Seymour's contract being voided.
Huddle Up: A previous report said voiding Seymour's deal will count $13.714 million in dead money against the cap, and a financial wizard may be needed to figure out the real truth, which likely lies somewhere in between. In any case, the Raiders are trying to find any means necessary to claw out from under the cap mess they've made for themselves so they can go about adding some some much-needed talent.

Oakland Raiders DT Richard Seymour said he has been impressed thus far with new head coach Dennis Allen. 'Some coaches just have the 'it factor,' and Dennis Allen has it,' Seymour said. 'I can't stress enough about everyone being on the same page.' Seymour believes Allen will instill some much-needed discipline to the team.
Huddle Up: Going into 2012 Allen is Oakland's seventh head coach in 10 years. They haven't had a winning season in that span since 2003 either.
