Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne said he is motivated by the thought of recording a 1,000-yard campaign as a 35-year-old in 2013. The 1,000-yard mark has been reached only 16 times by 12 players 35 years or older. Wayne will turn 35 in November. 'That's what fuels me, motivates me. Not everybody can do that,' Wayne said.

Huddle Up: Wayne hauled in 106 passes for 1,355 yards, finishing 15th among fantasy wideouts in 2012. Wayne might struggle a bit to reach those numbers again, but he remains the top target in Indy, and a 1,000-yard season is well within reach.

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne caught nine passes for 114 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card playoff game.

Huddle Up: When the going got tough Sunday, rookie Andrew Luck looked to his main man Wayne, who accounted for a third of the QB's completions and attempts. Nothing less was expected from the veteran of a young receiving corps who capped a Pro Bowl season with a strong, parting performance.

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne said the Colts are too young to rest, and need to continue to play as they prepare for the postseason. 'We're too young to rest,' the veteran receiver said. 'We probably need to put everybody out there and have them continue to play. I don't think we can afford (to rest). I can't speak for everybody, but I'm built to play.'

Huddle Up: Wayne's statement rings true: Andrew Luck and Co. can use all the seasoning they can get with most of them prepping for their first taste of playoff pressure. So expect the Colts' regulars to play Sunday, but how much is the big question. And it's a question fantasy owners need to weigh as they're setting their Week 17 fantasy lineups.

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne had three catches in the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans, extending his NFL record with at least three grabs to 62 consecutive games.

Huddle Up: Wayne just extended the streak with a 7-yard catch on the game's final play, but wasn't a factor all game with only 3 catches for 14 yards as he was covered for most of the contest by Texans' standout CB Jonathan Joseph.

Huddle Up: As if his performance against the Packers wasn't legendary enough, now we find out it was accomplished under duress. Another premature burial by the fickle fantasy community.

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck targeted WR Reggie Wayne 17 times in Week 1.

Huddle Up: That is an unsustainable target count, but Wayne is a must-start for the foreseeable future. He caught nine of those targets for 135 yards; one touchdown and he would have been in the top three for the week. Austin Collie's return means less targets for Wayne, but he is going to score just fine.

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne is impressed with QB Andrew Luck. 'I'll tell you Andrew throws a nice strong ball, nice strong spiral,' Wayne said Friday, Aug. 3.

Huddle Up: Come on, really, what do we expect him to say? That aside, it will be interesting to see what kind of chemistry develops between the veteran wideout and the can't-miss QB prospect. Last season, with the likes of Curtis Painter, Kerry Collins and Dan Orlovsky throwing the ball, Wayne's receiving yardage (960) dipped below 1,000 for the first time in eight seasons and he finished with fewer than five scoring receptions (4) for the first time since 2002. Overall, Wayne finished 29th among WRs in fantasy points with 120. Expect a noticeable uptick if Luck turns out to be even semi-decent.
