The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh inferred Friday, Oct. 16, that feeling less than fully healthy is one of the reasons his production is down this season. 'If I was watching myself and I had to cover me, I'd say, 'I can cover this guy.' I didn't like the way I looked,' Houshmandzadeh said. 'I'm feeling pretty good now. I haven't felt like this since probably the opening of training camp. I've had some problems here and there you all don't know about, and I'm just starting to feel better. Now that I'm feeling better, I've got to get my game back to where it needs to be.'
The Huddle Take: Houshmandzadeh continues to gain health and chemistry with his newly returned quarterback. As this process continues look for his production, which has been on the rise the past two games, should increase.

Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) practiced Friday, Sept. 25. He is listed as probable for Week 3 and will play.
The Huddle Take: Despite the fact that Houshmandzadeh should be ready to start, Seattle will also have Nate Burleson and Deion Branch the field to get some playing time as well. Houshmandzadeh's back is still not completely healthy and he will likely see less playing time and post lower numbers this week with Seneca Wallace starting for the Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 24, and he is probable for Week 3.
The Huddle Take: Positive news for Seattle on Houshmanzadeh which will likely be without starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck this week. At least the veteran receiver should be available for backup Seneca Wallace who will have a tough task against a determined Chicago team looking for another victory.

The Seattle Times reports Seattle Seahawks head coach Jim Mora said WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) will not practice Wednesday, Sept. 23, but is expected to practice Thursday, Sept. 24, and play in Week 3.
The Huddle Take: Look for this to be a normal weekly routine for Houshmandzadeh - resting early in the week and then hitting the practice field Thursday or Friday - until his back ceases to be an issue.

Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) participated in practice Friday, Sept. 18. He is listed as probable for Week 2.
The Huddle Take: While Houshmandzadeh has been battling a back injury since last week he has practiced on a limited basis. The former Bengal receiver is still learning the offense in Seattle which should lead fantasy owners to take a wait and see approach until he can put some consistent numbers on the board.

Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh missed the team's practice Thursday, Sept. 17. His status for Week 2 is uncertain, but it does not appear he is in danger of missing the team's game.
The Huddle Take: Housh is battling back spasms and has missed two days of practice this week. He dealt with back problems during his time in Cincinnati, but it rarely kept him off the field.

Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) missed the team's practice Thursday, Sept. 17, and he is doubtful to play in the team's Week 2 game.
The Huddle Take: If Houshmandzadeh does not play then Nate Burleson, Deion Branch and Deon Butler could see the bulk of the work in Week 2. Check his status on Friday to make sure he is back on the practice field.

Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh missed the team's practice Monday, Sept. 7. He did not practice last week or dress for the team's preseason finale. Head coach Jim Mora said last week that general soreness was the reason for Houshmandzadeh's absence.
The Huddle Take: Sounds like someone had a case of "veteranitis", a malady that afflicts established NFL players late in the preseason. There's no reason to expect Housh to miss his debut in a Seattle uniform.

CBSSports.com reports Seattle Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (ankle) left the team's practice early Monday, Aug. 10, with a mild ankle injury. He is expected to return Tuesday, Aug. 11
The Huddle Take: Mild ankle injuries can be nagging, long running injuries, so while it doesn't appear serious, it could have a small effect his performance for a few weeks. Hopefully the team will let him take it easy to get him back into the full swing quicker. Don't let this change his status on your draft sheet.

Greg Johns, of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, reports Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh said during an interview with the Sporting News that the team will make the playoffs this season. Houshmandzadeh also predicted Pro Bowl nominations for himself and QB Matt Hasselbeck. "I just want to let everyone know that Matt Hasselbeck and I will be leading the Seahawks to the playoffs this season," Houshmandzadeh said. "And we'll be going to the Pro Bowl as a tandem. We're both going to have top five seasons: He'll have a top five quarterback season, and I'll have a top five receiving season. I'll put up stats I've never had before yards-wise because they're allowing me to be a complete receiver."
The Huddle Take: Housh failed to say which scoring format he and Hass would be top-five in, so you may have to make your own judgment as to whether he'll actually be that valuable in your league's scoring system. You do have to like Houshmandzadeh's potential in a West Coast offense, especially if Hasselbeck's back is sound.
