Updating a previous item, Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright will miss a couple more weeks after an MRI revealed fluid in his hamstring.

Huddle Up: He could still be back a couple weeks before the real games begin, but this is just another layer of concern for Wright given the Titans' deep WR corps.

  • Posted: 8/4/2016 8:26am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has been working as the slot receiver with the first-team offense during the early part of training camp and has made several solid catches during practice.

Huddle Up: Wright appears to have a good chance to have a solid role in the passing game in 2016 if he continues to perform well during practice. He could be a late-round option in fantasy drafts but may be used only against favorable matchups.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright tweaked his hamstring in practice Tuesday, Aug. 2. Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said the injury isn't serious.

Huddle Up: Sure it's another early-camp hammy issue, but this is a big season for Wright, who is coming off a career-worst 36-408-3 campaign while playing in only 10 games.

  • Posted: 7/15/2016 1:55pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has been told he needs to improve his route running and is expected to be used as a slot receiver.

Huddle Up: Wright's receptions, yards and games played have decreased every season over the last three -- with 2015 producing a 36-408-3 stat line -- but if everything pans out, a bounce-back season could have him challenging for lWR2 status.

  • Posted: 6/8/2016 11:09am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright will not be allowed to freelance during plays like he may have been allowed to do in the past, according to offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie. Robiskie said he will expect Wright to be where he needs to be during every play. The offensive coordinator said Wright has performed well during offseason workouts.

Huddle Up: Marcus Mariota needs to know where to find Wright on any given play, and emphasizing that he stick to his routes rather than freelance allows him to be a security blanket for the young quarterback. Should Wright adhere to this instruction it could actually increase his catch totals and make him a more valuable PPR entity.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said he feels more explosive at his current 195 pounds, 12 pounds heavier than he was last season.

Huddle Up: Bigger, with more explosiveness? That's an ideal combination for Wright, who will lead a revamped Titans receiver rotation that includes a second-year Dorial Green-Beckham and free agent signee Rishard Matthews.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) is expected to take part in at least some of practice Wednesday, Dec. 30, according to interim head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Wright has been battling a knee injury for the latter part of the season, but he'll try to go in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/11/2015 4:28pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ribs) is out for Week 14.

Huddle Up: The late-season injury bug continues to hit Wright hard, and look for rookie wideout Dorial Green-Beckham and the Titans' tight ends to be the primary beneficiaries.

  • Posted: 12/9/2015 9:08am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ribs) suffered an injury to his ribs in the Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Wright said Tuesday, Dec. 8, on his radio show.

Huddle Up: Wright had just returned from an injury before suffering the latest malady. His availability for this weekend is uncertain, so if you're banking on him and still alive in your league playoffs keep an eye on the injury report.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) is expected to return Sunday, Nov. 29, in Week 12, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Even though he's missed the last three games, Wright still ranks second on the team with 28 catches for 343 yards and tied for the lead with three TD catches.

  • Posted: 11/18/2015 10:09am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) is not as good physically as interim head coach Mike Mularkey had hoped, although he has not yet been ruled out for the Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday, Nov. 19.

Huddle Up: With the Thursday game it looks like another missed week for Wright. On the bright side, he'll have a few extra days to get ready for Week 12.

  • Posted: 11/17/2015 8:16pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Huddle Up: Wright's knee sprain is lingering into its third week, and its definitely looks as if he'll missing his third straight game with Tennessee on a short week. Fellow WR Justin Hunter was lost for the season Sunday with a fractured ankle and that will mean even more looks for Harry Douglas, rookie Dorial Green-Beckham and the recently promoted Rico Richardson.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) may not be healthy enough in time for next week's contest with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Jim Wyatt of titansonline.com. Wright is already out for Week 10.

Huddle Up: Wyatt expects Wright to return Week 12 against the Raiders. Fantasy owners should prepare for Wright to miss the next two games.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Wright was unable to practice all week again and will miss a second straight game, meaning more targets again for fellow wideouts Harry Douglas, Justin Hunter and Dorial Green-Beckham against a tough Panthers' secondary.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, Nov. 12.

Huddle Up: Unless his fortunes take a dramatic turn Friday, it looks like Wright will miss a second straight game, meaning more looks for Justin Hunter, Harry Douglas and Dorial Green-Beckham.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) will not play this week due to a sprained left knee he suffered last week against the Houston Texans, according to interim head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: There had been some hope that the Titans' No. 1 WR wouldn't miss a game, but now look for Harry Douglas, Justin Hunter and rookie Dorial Green-Beckham to all see some extra targets Sunday against the Saints.

  • Posted: 11/4/2015 11:01pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 4. Wright said he may have sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee in Week 8.

Huddle Up: It's not looking good for Wright to play this week against the Saints. Rookie Dorial Green-Beckham will see an increased role Sunday if Wright can't go.

  • Posted: 11/3/2015 10:10am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) said he thinks he sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee Sunday, Nov. 1. He said it feels 'horrible' and is awaiting the results of an MRI. 'I've never really hurt myself like this,' Wright said.

Huddle Up: Doesn't sound as if Wright will be available for the Titans any time soon. He was a fringe fantasy contributor, and the injury clearly knocks him off the fringe.

  • Posted: 9/20/2015 10:44pm ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright had just two receptions for 17 yards in the Week 2 game against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: Wright had to deal with Joe Haden Sunday and Marcus Mariota was running for his life most of the game. The Browns' defense sacked Mariota seven times. Expect a bounce back performance next week from Wright when the Titans play the Colts.

  • Posted: 9/19/2015 12:02am ET

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright faces the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 2, and the Browns allowed just 11 touchdown passes at home last season.

Huddle Up: The Browns are a step up from the Buccaneers' defense and Wright will have to deal with Joe Haden on Sunday. Still, Wright is a WR3 against Cleveland with the way Marcus Mariota played last week.
