Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) was not practicing Thursday, Sept. 20, for a second straight day.

Huddle Up: Hilton has been a strong WR2 so far with 12 catches for 129 yards and a pair of TDs, but fantasy GMs will now need to check his status in Friday's all-important practice to get a better gauge on his availability for Sunday's game in Philly.

  • Posted: 9/19/2018 3:24pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Huddle Up: Hilton may be receiving a day off to rest his quadriceps, but owners will need to monitor the situation. He has posted a touchdown in each of his first two games and can be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 1:25pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton racked up seven receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in the Week 2 game against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: Hilton certainly is glad to have his quarterback Andrew Luck back under center after a lost season in 2017. The receiver has 12 receptions for 129 yards and two touchdowns through two games, and he has been targeted 11 times in each outing. He is back to low-end WR1 or must-start WR2 status in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 3 at Philadelphia.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 2:05pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton hauled in five receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and he was targeted a game-high 11 times.

Huddle Up: Hilton has his Andrew Luck back from injury and you can expect the receiver to be back to near fantasy-elite status going forward as long as both stay healthy. The Colts travel to meet the Redskins in Week 2.

  • Posted: 8/24/2018 3:26pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) may not play in the third preseason game so he can protect his injured shoulder.

Huddle Up: It would be nice for Hilton to receive more work with Andrew Luck during games, but he likely will be ready for Week 1 if he does not have a setback. He should continue to be a solid fantasy option in all leagues and should be considered a No. 2 receiver.

  • Posted: 8/20/2018 11:54pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) did not play in the team's second preseason game Monday, Aug. 20, against the Baltimore Ravens.

Huddle Up: Hilton has a sprained shoulder but it's not something that should affect his health going into the regular season. In fact, one of the great things about drafting Hilton is his durability, having missed just one game in his six-year career. Though he's coming off a campaign that saw him log his fewest receiving yards since his rookie year, not to mention a career-low four touchdowns, he can be viewed as a safe WR2 with Andrew Luck back under center.

  • Posted: 8/18/2018 1:03pm ET

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) suffered a sprained shoulder in practice Saturday, Aug. 18.

Huddle Up: Hilton was icing down his shoulder after practice, and the update was a sprain. It sounds worse than it is, most likely, and would be a lot more serious if it were a separation or fracture. He'll have a couple of weeks to get himself back to health before the regular season opener. Target him as a low-end WR1, especially with Andrew Luck back. Just be sure to have reinforcements on hand in the event he is slow to return.

  • Posted: 8/18/2018 11:37am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (shoulder) banged up his left shoulder in practice Saturday, Aug. 18, and he was being iced down by trainers.

Huddle Up: There is no report on the severity of his injury, but it's likely just your standard training camp bump or bruise. Fantasy owners should continue to tab him as a low-end WR1, especially with Andrew Luck back to bump up the receiver's value.

  • Posted: 8/5/2018 7:51am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton fielded punts at practice Sunday, Aug. 5, although head coach Frank Reich said he is unlikely to be used as a punt returner on a full-time basis.

Huddle Up: With Andrew Luck back under center and an offensive-minded head coach, the 28-year-old Hilton should once again be worthy of consideration as a No. 1 receiver. He is looking to bounce back from a 2017 campaign where he had just 57 receptions for 966 yards and four touchdowns.

  • Posted: 7/8/2018 12:26pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton logged 927 snaps last season - the ninth-most offensive plays among receivers in 2017.

Huddle Up: It's not a coincidence Hilton suffered through his worst statistical year since his rookie campaign in 2012 without Andrew Luck. Even without the stud quarterback peppering him with targets, the 28-year-old still uncorked a handful of his patented big games with Jacoby Brissett. Hilton hasn't missed a game in three years and is a prime rebound candidate in 2018 so long as Luck is under center. He's a nice value in the mid-third round of PPR drafts at the moment.

  • Posted: 6/3/2018 7:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton will still have opportunities to make plays down the field in head coach Frank Reich's fast-paced offense. 'A lot of jabs, stick and move, and then here comes the big punch,' Reich said. 'And when you keep them off-balance with the jab and you set up the big one.'

Huddle Up: Hilton managed 966 yards last year without Andrew Luck under center. If Luck's shoulder holds up, Hilton should jump right back into the WR1 conversation.

  • Posted: 5/16/2018 11:55am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has stood out so far in the offseason program and appears to be giving new head coach Frank Reich and the coaching staff his full effort.

Huddle Up: We already know Hilton is an elite wide receiver and will do his part for the Colts, but it's reassuring to know that he's on board with a new coaching staff. Hilton obviously isn't as productive without Andrew Luck, though. He's a WR1 with Luck and a WR2 without him.

  • Posted: 12/23/2017 4:43pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton caught six passes for 100 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Hilton bounced back after a few disappointing games and posted his fourth 100-yard game of the season. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 10:31pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton had five receptions for 41 yards in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Same stuff, different night for Hilton, whose season totals are only respectable due to three big games -- in the other 11 Hilton has an anemic 29-347-1 line. It's not really his fault as his deep game is a poor fit for a quarterback that's constantly under pressure, but fantasy owners should consider keeping Hilton on the bench at this critical time of year if they can.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 2:23pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton caught two passes for 20 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

Huddle Up: The Colts did not do a lot of throwing during the game because of the snowy conditions, so Hilton did not post good numbers. He should be more successful next week and can be at least a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 7:15pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton finished with three receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Hilton found the end zone for just the fourth time this season, and his 51 yards were more than his past two outings combined. But he has been rather inconsistent this season and should be treated as more of a WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 14.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 3:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton ended up with just two catches for 15 yards on five targets in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Overall his numbers do not look disappointing, but his yardage total is aided by three giant performances with 153 or more receiving yards. A majority of his production came in those three games and the other eight outings he has done very little. Fantasy owners should still rely on him as a WR3 or flex play in Week 13 at Jacksonville, but expect inconsistency.

  • Posted: 11/12/2017 8:53am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (groin) is officially active for the team's Week 10 game.

Huddle Up: Hilton was limited during practice this week but should be the main target in the passing game for the Colts. He will be facing one of the better pass defenses in the NFL this week but can still be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 11/11/2017 9:34pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (groin) is expected to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10, according to a source.

Huddle Up: There has been no middle ground for Hilton this year, and he should remain an all-or-nothing WR2 against Pittsburgh.

  • Posted: 11/10/2017 12:41pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 10, and is listed as questionable for Week 10.

Huddle Up: Owners should keep an eye on the situation over the next few days to see if Hilton is in any danger of missing the game. He is coming off a 175-yard performance last week but will be facing one of the pass defenses in the Pittsburgh Steelers. He should still be considered a No. 2 fantasy receiver if he plays.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 2:05pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (groin) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Hilton does play better indoors and the Colts play at home this week, but he could be matched up with Joe Haden. He needs to be started as long as he's playing, but don't expect him to duplicate last week's performance.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 3:14pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton was good for five receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Hilton opened the scoring with a 45-yard touchdown in the first quarter, and he racked up an 80-yard touchdown in the third quarter for the highlight of the day. He was battling for the ball, caught it, then dove to avoid a defender. He didn't feel he was touched, and ran into the end zone. Replay confirmed he wasn't contacted before going down and the long scoring play stood, much to the happiness of his fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 11/4/2017 7:37pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has caught a total of five passes for 61 yards over the last three games, and QB Jacoby Brissett said they have to find a way to avoid the attention defenses are giving to Hilton.

Huddle Up: With Andrew Luck ruled out for the year, Hilton's fantasy owners will have to settle for his boom-or-bust production the rest the of way. Plug him as a WR3 against the Houston Texans in Week 9 and hope he connects on a couple of big plays.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 9:27am ET

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano reiterated his desire to 'find ways' to get the ball to WR T.Y. Hilton more often, with the primary focus being figuring out a way to 'get him some free access.'

Huddle Up: This is not the first time we've heard something similar to this from Pagano, and the fact of the matter is this should not still be a problem at this point of the season. Most teams who run into trouble with getting their top receiver some free access find it easier to put that same player into motion, line him up in the slot or use a 'bunch' formation to keep him from getting jammed at the line. With six teams on bye, Hilton is worth starting one more time in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 10/30/2017 5:41pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is receiving trade interest from several teams, but the Colts likely will not trade him unless they receive a big package in return, in the opinion of ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Huddle Up: Hilton has been quiet over the last three weeks but still has 527 yards this season playing with backup quarterbacks. He can be a No. 2 fantasy receiver no matter where he plays for the rest of the season.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:18pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton posted just two receptions for 15 yards in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals on seven receptions.

Huddle Up: Was it Hilton's final game in an Indianapolis uniform? Per our previous update, the Colts are open to dealing him before Tuesday's trade deadline. However, it might be difficult to move him due to his salary, and Hilton isn't open to renegotiating and wants to stay put. We'll see in the next couple of days where Hilton ends up.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 4:43pm ET

The Indianapolis Colts are willing to move WR T.Y. Hilton, multiple sources are reporting Sunday, Oct. 29. However, the team will not just give him away. The receiver also won't be inclined to renegotiate his contract that pays him $8 million this year, $11 million next year, and $13 million in 2019.

Huddle Up: Hilton prefers to stay in Indianapolis, but fantasy owners wouldn't mind seeing him go to a contending team with a star quarterback who isn't injured. The trade deadline is set for Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET. Stay tuned.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 3:47pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton posted two receptions for 27 yards in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was targeted eight times.

Huddle Up: Jacoby Brissett looked to Hilton more than any receiver on the team, but the duo just couldn't get it together in a day where the Indianapolis offense was a complete disaster. Hilton will look to rebound in Week 8 against the Bengals, but treat him more as a WR3 in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 10/20/2017 10:35am ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton is 'one of the best players the NFL' and coaches need to do a better job using the scheme in order to get him the ball more often, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Huddle Up: Hilton was held to one catch for 19 yards during Week 6 in a plus-matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This week's opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have shut down just about every passing game they have encountered, so it will be interesting to see if the Colts try to force the issue with Hilton. Given the difficult matchup, Hilton is more of a WR3 this week.

  • Posted: 10/16/2017 9:51pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton recorded just one catch from his four targets for a mere 19 yards in the team's Week 6 game Monday, Oct. 16, versus the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Yuck. This was Hilton's worst game of the season, and it was also the third time in six games that he was held under 50 receiving yards. Clearly, the 27-year-old will benefit greatly when Andrew Luck (shoulder) is ready to return, but that could still be several weeks away. In the meantime, Hilton has become a boom-or-bust WR2 with Jacoby Brissett under center.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 7:36pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton posted seven receptions for a game-high 177 yards on nine targets in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Hilton has jelled rather nicely with Jacoby Brissett, posting 153 or more yards in two of his past three outings while totaling 17 receptions over his past three games. The Redskins have a so-so passing defense, so Hilton could have another big game in Week 6 in D.C.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 9:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton posted three grabs for 30 yards on six targets in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: Hilton's line was exact to teammate Donte Moncrief except for his counterpart also scored a touchdown. The receivers have struggled a bit with Jacoby Brissett under center, and he'll be the starter for at least one more game. Andrew Luck is due back 'sometime in October', according to published reports. Good times might be coming in Week 5, however, as the Colts face a favorable matchup against the 49ers and their leaky pass defense.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 2:09pm ET

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton racked up seven receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in the Week 3 win against Cleveland.

Huddle Up: The highlight of the day was a 61-yard scoring connection with Jacoby Brissett in the second quarter. While this was great for fantasy owners, expect Hilton to take a step back in Week 4 at Seattle against a much better defense.
