Los Angeles Rams WR Brian Quick caught four passes for 92 yards against the New York Giants in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Quick has been a solid part of the passing game over the last five games and has been targeted at least five times in three of the last four games. He could be considered a flex option in deeper leagues moving forward.

Los Angeles Rams WR Brian Quick (calf) is officially active for the team's Week 6 game.

Huddle Up: Quick has caught only 11 passes so far this season but is averaging 18.5 yards per catch and has three touchdowns. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues, but owners in most leagues probably can avoid him.

  • Posted: 10/14/2016 5:25pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Brian Quick (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 14, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

Huddle Up: Quick was added to the injury list Friday, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation and check the inactive list. He has scored three touchdowns in the last three games but has not caught more than three passes in any game in 2016. Quick could be a flex option, but most owners should be able to find better options.

Los Angeles Rams WR Brian Quick posted 69 yards and two touchdowns on his only two receptions in the Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted six times.

Huddle Up: Quick was a long shot to make the team in training camp, but he made the team and is now making an impact. He is worth scooping up for wide receiver depth in deeper leagues heading into Week 5 against Buffalo.

  • Posted: 8/21/2016 8:09pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Brian Quick was not mentioned by head coach Jeff Fisher when Fisher discussed the wide receiver competition.

Huddle Up: The former second-round pick hasn't neem able to live up to his potential, and he finds himself buried on the depthchart. He doesn't need to be drafted in any league at this point.

St. Louis Rams rookie WRs Brian Quick and Chris Givens will both see action for the team. The straight ahead speed Givens brings to the table may allow him to see a bit more time than Quick, who has had some dropped balls and is still learning to use his size in the NFL.

Huddle Up: The St. Louis WR situation is one of the league's biggest preseason mysteries. Vets Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson are listed as the team's starters, and free-agent Steve Smith has impressed but Quick, a second-round pick, and Givens, a fourth-rounder, also are definitely in the mix. It remains to be seen, though, if anyone here will emerge as a viable fantasy option outside of Amendola, and possibly Smith, in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher wants to get WRs Chris Givens and Brian Quick time with the first-team offense in the preseason finale, although he also admitted WR Steve E. Smith hasn't had much chance to work with QB Sam Bradford either. 'Yes, there's a chance I'll move them up. I'd like to see Givens and Quick in there, but they're all young receivers,' Fisher said. 'You take, for example, Steve Smith's case. He hasn't really had an opportunity to work with Sam. We'll play as many as we can earlier in the game and with the numbers down, they'll be playing throughout the game.'

Huddle Up: Holdovers Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson currently are pencilled in as the team's starters, but don't be surprised if a clear-cut No. 1 wideout doesn't emerge all season. The rookies, Quick and Givens, certainly are in the mix, while Smith has impressed in camp.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick has been slow to show much or play much, and he hasn't looked ready to play. The team's second-round draft pick has the size to give the team much-needed help in the red zone and on third down.

Huddle Up: Of the 6 WRs who have seen action for the Rams this season, Quick is bringing up the rear with 5 catches for 90 yards, and he and Steve Smith are the only wideouts without a TD reception. When it comes to Rams rookie receivers, Quick has been completely overshadowed by fourth-rounder Chris Givens, who has flashed big-play ability with 13 catches for 333 yards (an eye-popping 25.6 average) and 2 TDs.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said the team will look to get WR Brian Quick more involved down the stretch. Quick has been limited to a handful of plays at wide receiver each week, but he's becoming more comfortable in a special teams role as the season progresses. Quick saw more action with WR Chris Givens disciplined last week, and he's learning to react more in his routes instead of thinking his way through them. Quick's touchdown play last week has given him the needed confidence moving forward.

Huddle Up: This is great for Quick's longterm value, not so much for this season. Quick is still a raw rookie, and his touchdown catch came because he knocked over the defender, who was trying to jam him at the line. This is more of a dynasty league stash than a redraft addition.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick admitted he had trouble learning the playbook last season.

Huddle Up: Quick, the Rams' 2nd-dround pick in 2012, finished with only 11 receptions for 156 yards and 2 TDs last season and was outperformed by 4th-round pick Chris Givens (42-698-3). And with the team trading up and spending its 2013 1st-round pick on WR Tavon Austin, Quick now has even more ground to make up in the Rams' passing-game pecking order.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick has impressed with his play in OTAs. In the session Friday, June 7, he caught 17 or more passes from all over the field in all sorts of different routes.

Huddle Up: With Danny Amendola gone the Rams are looking for a go-to receiver. Other roles appear to be filled--Chris Givens as the deep guy, Tavon Austin as the specialty player--so if Quick can fill whatever voids remain and continue to make plays all over the field he'll be in line to compile some extremely helpful fantasy numbers.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick reportedly had a disappointing spring, and he tumbled down the unofficial depth chart, working as the No. 4 receiver as organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp ended. However, it is believed the rookie Tavon Austin, Austin Pettis and Chris Givens just had better practices, as offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer had good words for Quick. '(Quick's) doing a lot better. He's stepped up this year. He's just much more comfortable,' Schottenheimer said.

Huddle Up: With a disappointing spring following a disappointing rookie campaign (11-156-2) for the 2012 2nd-round pick, it's time to drop Quick well down your fantasy board and leave him there until further notice.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick is the team's most improved player, according to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer said Quick is competing for playing time and is the most of his opportunities.

Huddle Up: The Rams are looking for receivers to step forward and help out Sam Bradford, and at present Quick is pacing the team in that area. It's still a messy WR situation in St. Louis, but Quick's showing this far makes him at least worthy of considering as a depth fantasy WR4 or WR5 with upside.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Chris Givens has been surpassed on the depth chart by WRs Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Brian Quick, and Givens may be a bubble in terms of final roster cuts.

Huddle Up: Bailey will miss the first four games of the season due to suspension, so Quick may find himself an integral part of the Rams' receiver rotation for at least the early portion of the season. Add that to a healthy Sam Bradford and Quick should at least be on your fantasy radar.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick had seven catches for 99 yards in Week 1.

Huddle Up: The Rams' passing game is in shambles, as they were down to their third-string quarterback in the second half of their Week 1 loss to the Vikings. Quick found a way to emerge from the muck and offers at least some fantasy upside going forward; the key will be producing consistently rather than showing up every once in a while.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

Updating a previous report, St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (arm) left the locker room after the Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs with his left arm in a sling.

Huddle Up: The extent of Quick's injury isn't known yet. The Rams should provide an update on Monday. However, with Brian Schottenheimer as offensive coordinator, he'll probably replace Quick by rotating three receivers if he misses any time.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) is likely out for the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder and torn rotator cuff.

Huddle Up: It's a big blow for the Rams offense. Quick was in the midst of a breakout season with 25 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns. Kenny Britt and Stedman Bailey will now be the Rams top two receivers with Quick out. Bailey is a guy to keep an eye on.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) is making progress in recovering from a torn rotator cuff and separated shoulder he suffered last October. Head coach Jeff Fisher has described Quick's injuries as significant and has not disclosed any timetable in regards to Quick's return. Fisher did say that Quick is coming along after a difficult time during the early stages of rehabilitation.

Huddle Up: Quick only has 54 career receptions in three seasons but hit career highs across the board with a 25-375-3 line in only seven games this past season. He's penciled in as the team's No. 3 wideout for now, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Rams draft a WR.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) is making good progress in his recovery from shoulder surgery and was able to participate in individual drills during offseason workouts. Quick may be able to participate in team drills at some point during training camp and could be ready for Week 1 if he does not suffer any setbacks.

Huddle Up: Ringing endorsements like "may be able to participate" and "at some point" and "if he does not suffer any setbacks" don't exactly set the toes to tappin'--especially when we're talking about a receiver in the run-heavy Rams offense that features a new quarterback. Keep Quick on the sleeper/late-round flier list for the time being.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) has been cleared to practice with contact this week, and he might even be able to play in the team's next preseason game Saturday, Aug. 29, against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Quick was off to a strong start before injury ended his 2014 season after seven games, and he might be flying under the radar late in your fantasy drafts.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) will play Saturday, Aug. 29, versus the Indianapolis Colts after fully practicing Tuesday, Aug. 25, according to head coach Jeff Fisher.

Huddle Up: Great news for the wideout, who's certainly a late-round sleeper candidate with his current ADP of 189 -- 64th among WRs.

  • Posted: 5/20/2016 11:23am ET

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick was inactive in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks, but head coach Jeff Fisher said Monday, Sept. 14, that it was not 'physically related.' He cited a need for extra players on special teams.

Huddle Up: Quick was pegged by most fantasy analysts as the front-runner to be the Rams' No. 1 WR. That still might happen, but he's off to a disappointing start, and looks like he's going to have make more of an impression on Fisher and the coaching staff in roder to earn some playing time.
