Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin finished with four receptions for 68 yards on six targets in the Week 13 game against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: Benjamin had his most yardage since he went for 105 yards back in Week 3 against the Chiefs. Despite the solid day he is still best used as a WR5 heading into Week 14 against the Washington Redskins.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 6:04pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin caught three passes for 50 yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Benjamin's production has been inconsistent this season and has only been targeted seven times over the last three games. Owners may want stay away from Benjamin until he is productive on a more consistent basis.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (abdomen) is expected to play Thursday, Nov. 23, against the Dallas Cowboys.

Huddle Up: Benjamin had touchdowns in consecutive weeks to close out October, but he has a whopping one catch for 21 yards the last two weeks. The Dallas Cowboys are a midrange matchup, and Benjamin isn't much of an option in standard fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/22/2017 5:56pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (abdomen) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 22, and is listed as questionable for Week 12.

Huddle Up: Benjamin has two touchdowns in his last four games but has been held to under 22 yards in four of the last six games. He can be a valuable option in fantasy leagues at times, but owners may want to consider other options this week.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (abdomen) was a limited participant in practice Monday, Nov. 20.

Huddle Up: After exiting Sunday's blowout win over the Bills, Benjamin may have put himself in position to return to action on Thanksgiving by at least getting in a limited practice the following day. Either way, he's such a volatile player to deploy in fantasy that he should really only be considered as an option for the most desperate owners in deeper leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (abdomen) left the Week 11 game against the Buffalo Bills due to an abdominal strain.

Huddle Up: The game got out of hand early and he might have been held out of the game as a precaution. When there is an update on his condition we'll pass it along. The Chargers have a quick turnaround with a game on Thanksgiving in Dallas.

  • Posted: 11/12/2017 7:25pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin was held without a catch and ran once for 13 yards in a 20-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Benjamin has the speed to break some big plays, but he is an all-or-nothing receiver. He is better served as a DFS flier than a standard league option.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:26pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin caught five passes for a team-high 64 yards and a touchdown and had two carries for 14 yards in a 21-13 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Benjamin led the Chargers in catches, targets and yards in Week 8, but it was the first time since Week 3 that he recorded more than two receptions. He is still to inconsistent to trust in fantasy circles.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 8:22pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin posted a 42-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter of the Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos on his only target and he ripped off a 65-yard punt return to open the scoring in the first quarter.

Huddle Up: Benjamin is a speed burner, and it would be a good idea to try and get the ball in his hands a little more often. For now fantasy owners should only target him as a WR5 with some upside going forward.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 6:29pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin posted five receptions for 105 yards on eight targets in the Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Benjamin is a speed burner, and his 44-yard catch was just one yard short of a career best. Temper expectations heading into Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles, however, as he entered the game with just four grabs for 54 yards and a score. He needs more games like this before he becomes someone to consider regularly in fantasy.

  • Posted: 9/12/2017 4:12am ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin caught three passes for 43 yards, including a 38-yard TD strike from Philip Rivers, in a 24-21 loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday, Sept. 11.

Huddle Up: Benjamin's workload will only be limited because Rivers has plenty to work with in the offense. He only saw three touches, which suggests his performance in yardage leagues might suffer a bit. Scoring leagues is a different story. A quick strike like that will add up points, so make sure Benjamin is somehow activated in your lineup if you have a scoring league.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (knee) is fully healthy heading into training after having knee surgery at the end of last season.

Huddle Up: Benjamin has big-play speed, but consistency is going to be tough to come by as part of a suddenly deep receiving corps. He is a late-round flier in deeper formats.

  • Posted: 6/18/2017 6:21pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin's vertical speed is a 'game changer' for the offense, according to head coach Anthony Lynn, and Lynn said he wants Benjamin to return punts this season.

Huddle Up: Benjamin has the speed to take the top off the defense, but the Chargers' crowded receiving corps will make consistency tough to come by. His value will be tied to big plays, making him more appealing as a DFS flier than a standard league option.

Los Angeles Chargers WR Travis Benjamin saw his numbers drop across the board in 2016 in his first year with the club. In his final season in Cleveland in 2015, Benjamin registered 68 catches on 125 targets for 966 yards and five touchdowns, while playing in all 16 games. Last year, though, Benjamin managed to suit up in 14 games, en route to notching 47 receptions on 75 targets for 677 yards and four touchdowns.

Huddle Up: Even when No. 1 wide-out Keenan Allen went down in the beginning of the campaign, Benjamin still couldn't consistently post the big statistics that some owners were expecting, as injuries also contributed to his sometimes erratic play. With Allen set to return, not to mention the presence of emerging receiver Tyrell Williams and first-round draft pick Mike Williams, it doesn't seem likely Benjamin can be relied upon regularly in fantasy this season.
