The New York Daily News, reports New York Giants QB David Carr signed a one-year deal worth $1 million with a $1 million signing bonus, according to an NFL source. The deal also includes another bonus of $100,000, making the total value of the deal $2.1 million over the one year.
The Huddle Take: The Giants are the next in line to take a chance on Carr who will likely use the former Houston starter as its primary backup in 2009. The only thing that New York should like about this is the fact that Carr is an upgrade over what the Giants have had in the past backing up Eli Manning.
