The Dallas Morning News reports former NFL receiver Michael Irvin said on his radio show that he tried to work with WR Roy Williams during training camp on how he could help the Cowboys win, but Williams was not interested in listening to Irvin.
The Huddle Take: Williams seems to continue to be his own worst enemy. He had a relatively quiet first few years in the league, not making much of a scene and doing a solid job, but the trade to Dallas has just seemed to be a nightmare for everyone involved, and this kind of report won't help things at all. Williams could be on the verge of being done with the 'Boys, but for now he's just a receiver to avoid.

ESPNDallas.com reports Dallas Cowboys WR Roy Williams (ribs) will not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 9. His status for Week 5 appears doubtful.
The Huddle Take: It's likely Williams will miss the game, giving more receiving opportunities to Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd and Miles Austin -- in that order. It seems Tony Romo trusts Hurd more than Austin, as evidenced by the last two minutes of last week's Denver game.

The Dallas Morning News, reports the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with unrestricted free-agent SS Roy L. Williams (Cowboys). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The Huddle Take: Williams, the long-time Cowboy will solidify a defensive secondary that had more holes than a piece of swiss cheese last season. There is little doubt that he will add some much needed talent to the Bengals secondary as they attempt to rebound from a dismal performance last season. He could be a nice sleeper candidate for fantasy teams utilizing IDP players.
