Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts practiced in full Wednesday, Nov. 18.
The Huddle Take: Betts' ankle injury didn't appear to limit him last week as he rushed for 114 yards against the Broncos. While he may find the going a bit tougher in Dallas this week, Betts is still in line to handle the bulk of the Redskins' running back workload.

The Washington Times reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 13. He is listed as questionable for Week 10 but is expected to start.
The Huddle Take: It appears to be safe from a health perspective to run Betts if you picked him up to replace Clinton Portis. However, the Redskins go up against the Bronco run defense, which will be looking for redemption after being chewed up by Rashard Mendenhall and the Steeler ground game in Week 9.

Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (ankle) missed the team's practice Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The Huddle Take: Betts figures to be a important part of the Redskins offense with starting running back Clinton Portis likely out of action for at least another week. If Betts is unable to play then Washington will likely turn to Rock Cartright to carry the ball for the Redskins ground attack. It appears likely at this point that Betts will be ready to go despite his ankle injury this week.

The Associated Press reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts (ankle) has a sprained ankle, but is expected to start in Week 10 if RB Clinton Portis (concussion) is inactive.
The Huddle Take: With Portis already doubtful and Betts nursing a bad ankle, even more pressure will be put on Jason Campbell to win the game with his arm against Denver. Those who own the Bronco defense have to be anticipating big numbers in Week 10.
Posted: 8/21/2009 4:31pm et
The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts will be the team's primary third-down running back this season.
The Huddle Take: This will obviously cut into Clinton Portis' numbers, but not to the point where you should downgrade him significantly. Slightly, maybe, but Portis should still be a very worthy No. 1 running back for your team.
Posted: 8/3/2009 5:46pm et
The Washington Post reports indications are Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts could be inserted in almost every third-down passing situations this season.
The Huddle Take: Betts could be worth a look in PPR leagues, but otherwise he'd only be worth a draft choice if you decide to handcuff him with Clinton Portis.
Posted: 6/25/2009 11:29pm et
The Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins RB Ladell Betts may get more carries this season because the team wants to keep RB Clinton Portis healthy.
The Huddle Take: Betts and Portis are both solid NFL running backs and regardless of which one is in the lineup, both are capable of posting solid numbers. Look for more opportunities for Betts but keep in mind that Portis is still the No. 1 back and thus will likely get the carries in the redzone.
Posted: 6/5/2009 1:29pm et
Steve Yanda, of The Washington Post, reports Redskins RB Ladell Betts is hoping to take on an increased role in 2009. Betts has focused on building strength in his legs during the offseason as a precautionary measure against future injuries similar to the one he dealt with last season. Betts said, "I'm 100 percent. I feel like my old self, like I was last year at the beginning of the year; I feel good."
The Huddle Take: Betts was hampered by a knee injury, but there's little question Clinton Portis is the workhorse in the Washington offense. Barring a Portis injury or a change of heart by Danny Snyder or Jim Zorn, Betts' role in 2009 will likely be contained to insurance and change-of-pace duties.
