Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (ribs, shoulder) fully participated in practice Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Huddle Up: Kelce has been dealing with nagging injuries all season but hasn't missed a start. The Chiefs' run-heavy offense, though, is limiting his targets and he's had only 5 catches for 56 yards and no scores over the last two games.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is ready for a bigger workload after his package was limited earlier in the season due to his playbook knowledge, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Huddle Up: Kelce's workload will most definitely increase if fellow TE Anthony Fasano is unable to play Sunday with a knee injury having kept him out of practice so far this week.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (ribs) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 30, after being limited Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Huddle Up: Kelce has been dealing with the rib issue for several weeks now but hasn't missed a start. He has a favorable Week 9 matchup against the Jets, who allow the fourth most fantasy points to opposing TEs.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (ribs) practiced in full Friday, Oct. 24, and is probable for Week 8 against the St. Louis Rams.

Huddle Up: You can continue to count on Kelce, who leads K.C. in targets and has scored in 3 of the last 4 games.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (ribs) was limited again in practice Thursday, Oct. 23.

Huddle Up: Kelce has taken it slow so far this week, but there's no indication that he's in any danger of missing Sunday's game against the Rams. Stay tuned, though ...

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce hit career highs with a team-high nine targets, eight catches and 93 receiving yards and a touchdown Monday, Sept. 29 in a 41-14 rout of the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Kelce's fantasy points have increased in each outing this season and he's now a bona fide TE1 in all leagues, especially given the relative dearth of reliable pass-catching options in K.C.

  • Posted: 5/30/2014 6:25pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) has attended the organized team activities but has not participated at this point. Head coach Andy Reid said the team will see how Kelce feels in June before deciding if he will participate in drills.

Huddle Up: Kelce has the talent to be a fantasy factor, especially in an Andy Reid offense, so it would behoove him to get healthy and on the field sooner rather than later if that fantasy impact is to come in 2014.

The Kansas City Chiefs have TE Anthony Fasano as the starter at tight end, but TE Travis Kelce will be the top pass-receiver at the position, and he is an important piece of the passing game

Huddle Up: Kelce, K.C.'s 3rd-round pick a year ago, spent his rookie season on IR due to a preseason knee injury but he has some definite pass- catching promise as evidenced by his 45-catch, 722-yards, 8-TD collegiate final season at Cincinnati in 2012.

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) should be ready for offseason training activities.

Huddle Up: Don't forget about Kelce -- the 2013 3rd-round pick whose preseason knee issues cost him his entire rookie season -- in K.C.'s quest to feature a play-making TE.

  • Posted: 2/9/2014 4:52pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce could receive plenty of playing time next season because of the receiving threat he can be for the offense.

Huddle Up: Anthony Fasano and Sean McGrath had some brief flashes, but for the most part, the TE play was a weakness in the K.C. passing game this past season. For that reason alone, don't sleep on Kelce, a 2012 3rd-round pick whose preseason knee issues wound up costing him his whole rookie season.
