CBSSports.com reports Jacksonville Jaguars QB David Garrard (neck) suffered a neck burner during the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 27, and is probable to return.
The Huddle Take: Sounds like nothing too serious with this injury as Garrard is not expected to miss any time and should be considered worthy of starting for fantasy teams this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB David Garrard went 10-for-16 for 216 yards and one touchdown in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 22.
The Huddle Take: Garrard could be in line for a big season and the game this weekend might have just been the beginning. With weapons all around him in the Jacksonville offense, he appears to have the best supporting cast he has had in his career. This should equate into solid numbers for his fantasy owners this season.

Paul Kuharsky, of ESPN.com, reports the Jacksonville Jaguars practiced in the Wildcat formation during their organized team activity Monday, June 1. QB David Garrard lined up at wide receiver while RB Maurice Jones-Drew behind center in the shotgun.
The Huddle Take: C'mon, all the cool kids are doing it! Eventually we'll reach a point where every team has a Wildcat package and the element of surprise will be gone. Either that or a team will draft Tim Tebow and go to the spread offense full-time.

The Associated Press reports Jacksonville Jaguars QB David Garrard was 25-for-35 for 287 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Week 13.
The Huddle Take: Garrard's numbers were good, but it's looking more and more apparent that the Jaguars have mailed it in for the season. Garrard's mainly accumulated those numbers in trash time, and with the way Jacksonville's playing, it's looking like there's going to be a lot of that trash time the remainder of the season.
