The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings RB Chester Taylor led the team in receiving Week 3, hauling in seven passes for 70 yards.

The Huddle Take: This is worth noting as it indicates that the connection between Favre and his TE Visanthe Shiancoe (only 2 catches) is not developing as many expected and Taylor may turn into a better third down option than Adrian Peterson, cutting down on his game day snaps.

Posted: 11/24/2008 4:52pm et

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress said the team plans on using RB Chester Taylor quite a bit in the last five games. Taylor has been playing in almost every third-down situation and in the two-minute offense. It is not certain how Taylor will be used but the team wants to keep RB Adrian Peterson fresh.

The Huddle Take: Just the thing you wanted to hear as an Adrian Peterson owner heading into your league's playoff stretch run, isn't it? If he follows through with his plan, Childress will be right up there with Mike Shanahan as Public Enemy No. 1 of Fantasy Football players.
