The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer was 20-for-24 for 233 yards with five touchdown passes Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

The Huddle Take: Palmer simply exploded for a huge day against a Bears defense that has been highly touted but depleted by injuries this season. The Bengals have been one of the biggest surprises of the season and continue to play great football and post nice numbers for fantasy owners on both offense and defense so far this season.

The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (thumb) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 15. He will play Week 6, but he will hand off with his right hand.

The Huddle Take: Palmer is gradually returning to form this year but continues to been hampered by small, nagging injuries just like this one. The thumb injury for Palmer is likely to be more of a nuisance than anything else but could cause him enough problems to keep his production down and possibly cause issues with him holding onto the ball.

The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (thumb) suffered a sprained left thumb during Week 5.

The Huddle Take: Despite the injury Palmer remained in the game and threw a touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell that sealed the victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. Fantasy owners should check Palmer's status next week to make sure that he is practicing but this injury does not appear to be something that will keep him out of action at this point.

Joe Kay, of The Associated Press, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer said he believes the work he did with WR Andre Caldwell during the offseason is starting to pay off in the regular season.

The Huddle Take: Caldwell has inserted himself into the Bengals' mix of receivers and looks like an intriguing dynasty league add as neither Chad Ochocinco and Laveranues Coles could be considered youngsters.

The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer was 15-for-23 for 185 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions during the team's Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers. Palmer also had a one-yard run for a touchdown in the game.

The Huddle Take: Palmer burst onto the scene in Week 2 and now looks like he is building repor with his new receiving corp. The victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 could be a sign that things are finally turning around in Cincinnati and that Palmer could be returning to his form of two seasons ago.

The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 9.

The Huddle Take: The ankle injury Palmer sustained in the preseason appears to be healing as expected which makes the Bengal quarterback a decent starting option against a weak Denver defense in Week 1. Palmer will likely be shaking the rust off early on in the season so don't expect consistent fantasy numbers until he gets back into rythmn with his offensive playmakers.

Joe Reedy, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer practiced with the first-team offense Monday, Sept. 7, and appeared to be moving well.

The Huddle Take: Palmer played in the Bengals' first preseason game, demonstrating he had recovered from last year's elbow injury, then missed the remainder of the exhibition slate with an ankle sprain. It appeared as if Cincy was being more cautious than anything else, and the fact that Palmer was back at practice bodes well for his availability in the season opener.

Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer will not play in the team's preseason finale Thursday, Sept. 3, but will play in Week 1, according to a source. Over the past 24 hours, Palmer has made his most significant strides, according to those in Cincinnati. He he has taken legitimate snaps from center, avoided the rush and moved the way he has needed to prove he is sufficiently recovered from his ankle sprain.

The Huddle Take: Palmer is also working his way back from the elbow injury that cut short his 2008 campaign. The injuries have bumped Palmer, a top-five fantasy quarterback two of the past three seasons, into sleeper territory—with obvious injury risks, but obvious upside as well.

CBSSports.com reports Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said QB Carson Palmer (ankle) could play in the teams preseason finale. Palmer is expected to take part in some practice drills Monday, Aug. 31.

The Huddle Take: If Palmer can play this week, he can definitely play in Week 1. Just hold your breath if Palmer's your No. 1 QB and hope he gets through the exhibition game unscathed.

James Walker, of ESPN.com, reports Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer will not play in the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 27, and could be held out of the rest of the preseason as a precaution, according to a source. His availability for the final preseason game will depend on how his ankle responds before the game. The Bengals expect Palmer will be ready for Week 1.

The Huddle Take: Palmer missed most of last season with an elbow injury, but he appeared in Cincy's first preseason game to prove that issue is behind him. However, missing the Bengals' final two exhibition tilts will likely knock him down a spot or two on most fantasy draft boards.
