ESPN.com reports Gary Wichard, the agent for Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs, said there is a chance that Suggs could miss the rest of the season, according to the Carroll County Times.
The Huddle Take: Suggs was injured in the Monday night win over Cleveland on a hit from Browns quarterback Brady Quinn that drew a fine from the NFL. Obviously, the loss of a dynamic pass rusher like Suggs will be a blow to the Ravens, especially this week as they square off with Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Aaron Wilson, of the Carroll County Times, reports Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs has a minor tear of his medial collateral ligament and is out for at least two to three weeks, according to a source.
The Huddle Take: The injury came courtesy of a Brady Quinn hit on an interception return, a hit that didn't sit well with many of the Ravens and is likely to cost Quinn a few dollars.

The Associated Press reports Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs (knee) will have an MRI Tuesday, Nov. 17, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Although it is not known how long Suggs could be out, LB Ray Lewis, who was upset that Suggs received a chop block from Cleveland Browns QB Brady Quinn, said Suggs could miss four to five weeks. 'That's an illegal blow,' Lewis said. 'I don't care how you want to look at it...When you're running down and you're looking at the quarterback going at somebody's knees who doesn't even have the ball. I want to see if he gets the same fine I got or even higher. Now this man is out four or five weeks because of some baloney like that.'
The Huddle Take: Quinn is lucky the Browns are done playing the Ravens this season. Without Suggs, the Baltimore defense won't be as formidable, obviously, but it will still be worth a Fantasy start.

CBSSports.com reports Baltimore Ravens DL Terrell Suggs (Achilles') made his preseason debut Thursday, Sept. 3, and finished with a sack and three tackles in limited action.
The Huddle Take: It is good to not only see Suggs back on the field, but it looks like he's already in good form. The Ravens will need the stars they have on defense to have career years to make up for some of the losses they've taken in player departures in the off season. Suggs appears ready to do his part.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Baltimore Ravens DL Terrell Suggs has agreed to a six-year, $63 million deal with the team, according to a source. Suggs will receive signing bonus and option bonus money that will total $33.1 million in 2009 and 2010, according to a source.
The Huddle Take: The Ravens franchised Suggs each of the past two seasons, so you knew they valued their top pass rusher. And now they have him locked up for six years of terrorizing opposing quarterbacks.

The Baltimore Sun reports Ravens LB Terrell Suggs said he would not be tempted to sign elsewhere if he becomes a free agent. Suggs added, "Not at the cost of leaving Baltimore. If they treat me fair, then it shouldn't be a problem. I have all the faith in the world that they'll do that."
The Huddle Take: Not exactly the type of quote an agent likes to bring to the bargaining table, but you would expect the Ravens to come correct with an offer that would keep Suggs from changing his mind and checking out what the market might bear for his services.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs (shoulder) said he is not sure if he will be able to play in the AFC Championship because of a potentially serious shoulder injury which he could injury further if he plays. He underwent an MRI on the shoulder but could not give any details. 'I was so distraught when they told me. It's not good. It could be major ligament damage. We just have to wait and see,' Suggs said. He was not wearing a sling while attending practice but did wear one when talking to the media.
The Huddle Take: If Suggs does miss the AFC Championship game then LB Jameel McClain, LB Edgar Jones and DE Marques Douglas all could see playing time in his absence. It would certainly be a huge setback for the Ravens if Suggs is out of action this weekend against the Steelers, especially since the Baltimore defense has been playing at such a high level during the playoffs.
Posted: 1/13/2009 11:23pm et
The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said DL Terrell Suggs (shoulder) had an MRI exam Monday, Jan. 12, and suggested Suggs' availability for the AFC Championship game would 'be close.' Harbaugh added, 'I'm not going to sit here and say it's positive, or we're happy about it. We'll just see how it goes. It's going to be close. He's going to work real hard to try to get back. That's all we know.'
The Huddle Take: Despite the injured shoulder, the Ravens star DL Terrell Suggs could play Sunday but will likely be a game-time decision for the AFC Championship game. It would certainly be a huge blow for the Baltimore dominant defense if Suggs is unable to play in what is their most important game of the year.

The Baltimore Sun reports Ravens LB Terrell Suggs said he will play in the AFC Championship game despite injuring his shoulder during the team's Divisional Round playoff game. "Check my track record. I don't miss games," Suggs said. "The only way I wouldn't be there is if I didn't have air in my lungs."
The Huddle Take: Sounds like Suggs will be good to go against the Steelers.
