New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan posted five receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 2 at New Orleans.

Huddle Up: Hogan certainly made up for his egg laying in Week 1, but a lot of fantasy owners probably went away from him after he managed just eight yards in the opener. The Patriots host the Texans in Week 3.

  • Posted: 8/25/2017 6:45pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan finished with four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in the preseason Friday, Aug. 25.

Huddle Up: Hogan was a boom-or-bust option last year, but if Julian Edelman's knee injury turns out to be serious, it would boost his stock. He is in the WR4 range for now.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 5:39pm ET

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) said he expects to be fine after suffering a knee injury during practice Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Huddle Up: Hogan may miss a day or two of practice, but his injury does not appear to be serious. He is coming off a successful 2016 season where he posted 680 yards and four touchdowns. He should have a solid role in the passing game this season and could be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 8:10am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (knee) left practice Wednesday, Aug. 2, and was having his knee examined by a trainer.

Huddle Up: Hogan could be a WR3 on a different team, but he'll be a matchup play WR5 if his knee checks out.

  • Posted: 6/16/2017 7:16am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan has been lining up with WR Brandin Cooks and WR Julian Edelman in three-wide receiver sets.

Huddle Up: Hogan had a modest 38-680-4 line on the season, but he had some big performances in spots. Hogan isn't someone to lean on consistently, but he can be a matchup beast as a WR5.

  • Posted: 2/3/2017 1:26pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Friday, Feb. 3, and is listed as questionable for Super Bowl LI.

Huddle Up: Hogan should be in uniform despite the injury and likely will have a solid role in the passing game against the Atlanta Falcons. He should be a top three receiver for the Patriots in 2017 and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 2/2/2017 3:52pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited in practice again Thursday, Feb. 2.

Huddle Up: Hogan sustained the thigh ailment in the Divisional Round, but considering he posted his memorable breakout performance the very next week with nine catches for 180 yards and a pair of two touchdowns, he's fine. The former Buffalo Bill could be a real dark horse to win the Super Bowl MVP award.

  • Posted: 2/1/2017 2:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Huddle Up: Hogan has dealt with this injury for a few weeks but is coming off a fantastic AFC Championship performance and will continue to be one of the starting receivers. He should be an attractive option for owners this week and can be considered No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues next season.

  • Posted: 1/27/2017 1:54pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 27.

Huddle Up: Hogan has dealt with this thigh injury over the last few weeks but has not missed any playing time and is coming off a terrific Divisional round performance. He probably will serve as the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in the Super Bowl and can be a fantasy option against the Atlanta Falcons. He should have a similar role next season and can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/25/2017 1:42pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Huddle Up: Hogan is coming off an outstanding Divisional round playoff game performance where he finished with 180 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key contributor in the passing game and can be a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues. Hogan should be a top three receiver for the Patriots next season and can be a No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners in 2017.

  • Posted: 1/23/2017 9:25pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan's 180 receiving yards in the AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers are the most ever in a postseason contest by an undrafted player. The previous high was retired WR Steve Watson's 177 yards for the 1984 Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Hogan has rapidly become one of the league's best breakout stories, and he's picked the right time to do it. Despite registering only 38 receptions in 15 games for the Patriots during the regular season, the 28-year-old Hogan has accumulated 13 catches across both of New England's playoff bouts, to go along with 275 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. In what will likely be a shootout, Hogan may be on the verge of producing another big stat-line in the Super Bowl.

  • Posted: 1/22/2017 7:05pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught nine passes for a game-high 180 yards and two touchdowns Sunday, Jan. 22, against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Game.

Huddle Up: Pittsburgh had no answer for Hogan in the first half, when he landed seven of his nine receptions and both TDs. The first-year Patriot carved up zone coverage and worked the screen game. He's a WR4 or No. 5 in 2017 fantasy drafts, possessing more worth in non-PPR setups.

  • Posted: 1/20/2017 2:44pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 20, and is listed as questionable for the AFC Championship game.

Huddle Up: Owners can keep an eye on the situation to see if Hogan is in any danger of missing the game. He probably will be the team's No. 2 receiver if he plays and can be a decent No. 3 receiver option for owners.

  • Posted: 1/19/2017 6:51pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 19.

Huddle Up: Hogan has already said he would play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Jan. 22, so this is likely a precaution. Hogan is a darkhorse for catching passes, having nabbed all of his four targets in the postseason for 95 yards.

  • Posted: 1/14/2017 7:35pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) exited against the Houston Texans Saturday, Jan. 14, with a thigh injury and is questionable to return.

Huddle Up: If Hogan can't return, Michael Floyd should see a bump in action as the No. 2 receiver option behind Julian Edelman.

  • Posted: 12/12/2016 9:46pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan posted five receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in the Week 14 game against the Baltimore Ravens Monday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Hogan has visited the end zone in back-to-back games, and he has at least four receptions in each of his past three outings. He has emerged as a useful fantasy option in PPR fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 4:16pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan posted four receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He was targeted five times.

Huddle Up: Hogan has a total of four catches in three of his past four outings, and he has at least 70 or more receiving yards in two of the games. However, his production has been rather erratic and he is only worth using in deeper fantasy leagues in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 8:14am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) is active for Week 13's game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to multiple sources.

Huddle Up: Hogan was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He has been able to play through this injury for a while, so fantasy owners should have no reservations about using him as a flex option in deeper seasonal leagues.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 6:50am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) is expected to play in Week 12's game against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Hogan was limited in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He's only worthy of consideration today as a possible flex option in deeper seasonal leagues.

  • Posted: 11/18/2016 2:55pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) has been ruled out for Week 11 versus the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Hogan managed to get in limited practices this week, but perhaps the team felt there is no reason to put him on a cross-country flight when they should have little problem beating the 49ers without him. His absence opens up an opportunity for rookie Malcolm Mitchell and perhaps even Martellus Bennett to make plays downfield. Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola could be in line for an extra target or two as well.

  • Posted: 11/17/2016 7:14pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

Huddle Up: Hogan has been a big-play threat for the Patriots, but he has plenty of games where he does next to nothing. He is a boom-or-bust flex option against the 49ers in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 10:31pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) was targeted three times in the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks but he did not have any catches or offensive statistics.

Huddle Up: Hogan was dealing with a back injury entering play and it's uncertain if that was the reason he failed to factor into the offense much. However his scoreless fantasy performance is a huge concern heading into Week 11 in San Francisco.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 7:54am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (back) will be a game-time decision for Week 10's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: Hogan is listed as questionable on the injury report and did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 11. With New England playing a Sunday night game, he is too much of a risk to insert into fantasy lineups this week.

  • Posted: 11/11/2016 6:31pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan is averaging 24.5 yards per catch since QB Tom Brady has returned, catching 11 passes for 269 yards.

Huddle Up: Hogan is a bit too boom or bust to trust in standard leagues, but his big-play potential makes him an intriguing option in DFS formats.

  • Posted: 10/16/2016 10:24pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (head) had one catch for 39 yards on his only target in the Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Hogan suffered a head injury last week and he might have been limited as a result. Wait to see him get back into the four-to-six target range before trusting him again in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/9/2016 11:46am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught four passes for 114 in the first half against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5.

Huddle Up: Hogan was pretty quiet over the first four weeks of the season but should be more involved in the passing game with Tom Brady at quarterback. He could be a flex option for some owners moving forward.
