New England Patriots impending free-agent WR Chris Hogan could be an option for the New York Giants in free agency, in the opinion of SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.

Huddle Up: The Giants have Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard as their top two receivers but likely will look to add a No. 3 receiver this offseason. Hogan has played well at times over the last few seasons and could a late-round fantasy option in 2019 depending on his role.

  • Posted: 1/13/2019 2:58pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught three passes for 13 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round playoff game.

Huddle Up: Hogan was not a big factor during the second half of the regular season but has been targeted 16 times over the last two games. He could be a possible flex option in some fantasy leagues next week.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 2:01pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught six passes for 64 yards against the New York Jets in Week 17.

Huddle Up: Hogan was targeted 11 times against the Jets and likely will be more involved in the passing game with Josh Gordon suspended. He could be a flex option in some playoff fantasy leagues but is not a must-start option.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 7:25pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan finished with two grabs for 68 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown, in the Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Hogan was blanked last week, and in three of his past six outings, and the touchdown was his first foray into the end zone since Week 2. He is a very risky fantasy option heading into Week 16 despite his long scoring play.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 9:49pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught both of his targets for 47 yards in Week 12 against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Hogan's box-score contribution in Week 12 was his first in nearly a month. He turned out to be one of the biggest busts in fantasy this season and can be safely left on the waiver wire moving forward.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 3:34pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan finished with six receptions for 63 yards in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears on seven targets.

Huddle Up: Hogan has three or more grabs in each of his past three games, but he hasn't found the end zone since Week 2 in Jacksonville. Treat Hogan as a WR4 in PPR formats heading into Week 8 against the Bills on Monday night, and a WR5 in all other formats.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 11:36pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught all four of his targets for 78 yards in Week 6 versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Hogan did the bulk of his damage on a 45-yard catch in the fourth quarter. The former lacrosse player has been one of the bigger early-round disappointments in fantasy this season, as he set season highs in catches and yardage with this effort. Playing time hasn't been an issue either; his 315 snaps through five weeks was the ninth-highest total among receivers entering this week. Hogan should be considered no more than a bench stash in most leagues.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 3:19pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) is expected to be cleared to play in the Week 6 game, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Hogan has not been a big factor in the passing game so far this season, so his role for Week 6 is uncertain. Owners may want to look for other options to use and can avoid Hogan.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 9:33am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was back at practice Friday, Oct. 12, after missing the team's previous practice Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Hogan can probably be dropped in most leagues. While he has seen over 90 percent of the team's snaps so far, he has no more than three catches for 34 yards in any game this season.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 4:04pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation to see if Hogan will be able to play in Week 6. He has not been a big factor in the passing game this season and has not caught more than three passes in any game. He would be a flex option in some deeper leagues if he plays but could also be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 10/10/2018 3:10pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (thigh) was listed as a limited basis on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Huddle Up: Hogan has been limited to 11 grabs for 143 yards through give games, and nearly all of his production came in Week 2 against the Jaguars when he posting three grabs, 42 yards and each of his two touchdowns on the season. He is worth using as a low-end WR5 at best right now.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 7:16pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught his only target for 25 yards in a 38-7 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.

Huddle Up: Hogan still hasn't caught more than three passes in a game this year and hasn't had more than 42 receiving yards. Don't drop him just yet, but it is hard to justify starting him right now, especially with Julian Edelman set to return in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/24/2018 12:11am ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan converted three of his four targets into 31 scoreless yards in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Hogan has been completely unpredictable from a fantasy standpoint so far, doing next to nothing in two favorable matchups and scoring twice against a Jacksonville Jaguars secondary that is as stingy as they come. While it's possible Josh Gordon's integration in the offense could open up some looks for Hogan, it's just as likely his value will bottom out once Julian Edelman returns. Hogan has quickly descended into WR3 territory entering Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 11:57pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan finished with three catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Hogan essentially provided the kind of production in the most difficult matchup he's probably going to have all year one week after managing one reception for 11 yards in a much friendlier draw versus the Houston Texans. At any rate, Hogan proved he doesn't need to be benched in fantasy regardless of the opponent. He's very much in the WR2 discussion in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 6:50pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan managed just one reception for 11 yards on five targets in Week 1 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Someone needs to step up with Julian Edelman suspended for the first four games, and many figured Hogan would see a larger role. It was Phillip Dorsett who picked up the pace and looked fantasy relevant, while Hogan was a huge disappointment.

  • Posted: 9/6/2018 7:10pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan faces the Houston Texans in Week 1, and Hogan caught four passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns against the Texans last season.

Huddle Up: With Julian Edelman sidelined by a suspension, Hogan should have a prominent role in the passing attack. New England won a 36-33 shootout when these teams met last year, and another high-scoring affair could be on tap this weekend. Hogan is a WR3 candidate.

  • Posted: 8/16/2018 7:26pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan caught five passes on seven targets for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason Thursday, Aug. 16.

Huddle Up: Hogan was on the receiving end of a Tom Brady touchdown pass, and given the current state of New England's receiving corps, Hogan has legitimate WR2 potential.

  • Posted: 8/16/2018 12:21pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan has started contract extension talks with the Patriots, but the two sides are a bit too far apart at this time, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Hogan will be an unrestricted free agent after the season, so the team probably will try to sign him to an extension. Hogan will be a focal point in the passing game this season especially in the first four weeks of the season. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 6/14/2018 8:05pm ET

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan will be asked to shoulder a bigger load in the offense in 2018.

Huddle Up: Hogan scored a career-high five touchdowns in just nine games last year, and after an offseason overhaul of the receiving corps and with a looming suspension for Julian Edelman, he could be in line for a career year.
