Houston Texans WR DeVier Posey could begin the 2013 regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list if his recovery from an Achilles' tendon injury goes slowly.
Huddle Up: The Texans drafted DeAndre Hopkins to fill the wingman role opposite Andre Johnson, so if/when Posey returns he'll be returning to a secondary role in the Houston passing game.

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said believes WR DeVier Posey (Achilles') could return during the middle of the 2013 NFL season.
Huddle Up: The Texans' third-round pick saw his season cut short by a ruptured Achillies', but he wasn't lighting the field on fire before the injury, finishing with only 6 catches for 87 yards and no TDs in 11 games.

Houston Texans WR DeVier Posey said Sunday, Jan. 13, that he tore his left Achilles' tendon during the AFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the New England Patriots. He walked out of the locker room on crutches with a walking boot. Posey hauled in his first NFL touchdown reception before departing.
Huddle Up: Posey, a third-round pick from Ohio State, was unable to finish his best game as a pro, catching 3 passes for 47 yards and a TD before his injury in the fourth quarter. Posey had only 6 receptions for 87 yards during the regular season -- all in the final 4 games -- but his next order of business is surgery, leaving his availability for the start of the 2013 season in serious doubt.

The Houston Texans have agreed to terms with third-round draft choice WR DeVier Posey. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: Posey is the latest wide receiver to battle for fantasy relevancy opposite Andre Johnson. Look for him to challenge for the WR3 job to start, but with Houston a run-first team and Johnson and Owen Daniels locked in as Matt Schaub's favorite targets it will be extremely difficult for Posey to make an immediate fantasy impact.
