The Seattle Times reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson guaranteed during an interview that the Seahawks will win in Week 10. 'I don't want to give anybody bulletin board material, but I do believe it was [former NFL head coach Herman Edwards who said]: We play to win the game. Period. So, we're going on the road to play a football game, and we're gonna win. I don't care what you say. People can print in the paper, they can send it to the team's we're playing. But they know just like we know, we're going to win the game,' Burleson said.
The Huddle Take: Somebody needs to get Burleson fitted for two targets, one on his chest and the other on his back. When you're 2-5, maybe you don't have a lot to lose, but you know the Cardinal DBs will pay a little extra attention to No. 81 this week. After his statement, you've got to expect them to do everything in their power to make sure he can't back it up with a good performance. If indeed they do try harder than normal to shut Burleson down, that conceivably could open up some more opportunities for T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 15, but he should play Week 6.
The Huddle Take: There are no indications Burleson will not be available for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, though a full practice on Friday would ease some worried minds.

The Seattle Times, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson (back) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Huddle Take: Seattle looks like it is beginning to click on offense with Matt Hasselbeck back on the field and the receivers starting to develop more chemistry in the offense. Despite the fact that Burleson is nursing a back injury, fantasy owners should expect him to be on the field in Week 6 and likely produce decent numbers in what could be a high scoring affair for the Seahawks. Fantasy teams could do far worse than having Burleson as an option in their lineup this week.

The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson finished with seven receptions for 74 yards with a touchdown.
The Huddle Take: Burleson showed no signs of the knee injury that kept him on the shelf last season and looked to pickup right where he left off with Matt Hasselbeck in the preseason. Burleson makes a nice No. 3 wideout with upside in an offense that should post plenty of numbers all season long.

Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson (knee) played Saturday, Aug. 15, against the San Diego Chargers. He caught just one pass for 12 yards during the game.
The Huddle Take: Burleson will likely continue to ease back into action but will have his hands full for playing time especially with T.J. Houshmandzadeh considered by many as the top receiving threat on the team. Burleson should make a nice complement as long as there is not lingering effects of the knee injury he suffered last year.

MyNorthwest.com, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson (knee) has continued to surprise during training camp. He has run smoothly and efficiently. Burleson had surgery to repair a torn ACL less than a year ago, but he is moving and cutting very well. Burleson has not had any knee swelling, nor has he had to take any reps off. In the new Seattle system, which provides a little more balance between timing routes and deeper routes, Burleson could display his skill set even more.
The Huddle Take: Burleson was projected by many last year as a solid sleeper in the Seattle passing game but was derailed by a knee injury that cost him the entire season. As long as Matt Hasselbeck can perform at a high level and Burleson keeps looking strong in the preseason, the wideout could be in line for a solid comeback season.

The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson is running pass patterns again without any problem. Burleson, eight months removed from reconstructive knee surgery, is catching everything thrown his way, too. He has also been working as a cornerback on the scout-team. He was wearing a black brace over his knee and said he is not 100 percent yet. "The last couple of days, I've got to be honest, there was some doubt in my mind, but right now I don't feel my knee hurting. This week has proved to me the rehab is working," Burleson said. Dr. James Andrews, who performed the surgery, recently told Burleson he is amazed with how well Burleson has come in his recovery.
The Huddle Take: Plenty of good news here. First, Burleson sounds as if he's getting his confidence back—usually one of the biggest hurdles when returning from a significant injury. And second, if you're amazing Dr. James Andrews—surgeon to the stars—then you rehab must be going well.

The Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson (knee) wore a brace on his left knee during practice Tuesday, April 7.
The Huddle Take: Burleson was clearly emerging as the go-to-guy in the Seattle offense early last season before exiting with a season-ending knee injury. With T.J. Houshmandzadeh now in Seattle, look for Burleson to re-emerge as a viable target that is capable of posting solid No. 2 WR numbers for fantasy teams in 2009.

The Tacoma New Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks WR Nate Burleson (knee) said he is about 90 percent healthy from his knee injury. He does not know how much he will be able to do during the team's minicamp in April.
The Huddle Take: Burleson started the season as the top receiving option in Seattle and should once again be viewed as a solid option in the Seattle passing game. With newly acquired T.J. Houshmandzadeh with the team look for Burleson to have a solid complement on the other side to keep double coverages at a minimum when he returns to action.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports Seahawks WR Nate Burleson, who is recovering from a torn ACL, said he was running on the practice field the other day. "I was exploding off the line," Burleson said. "For about 15-20 yards, I probably felt as fast as I've ever felt."
The Huddle Take: A healthy Burleson, combined with a healthy Matt Hasselbeck, Deion Branch, and the newly signed T.J. Houshmandzadeh, would give the Seahawks a pretty potent passing attack.
