Philadelphia Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (knee) will not play in the team's Week 8 game.
The Huddle Take: Curtis continues to have issues with his knee and is out indefinitely. Rookie Jeremy Maclin remains in the starting lineup for the Eagles opposite DeSean Jackson.

PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (knee) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee Saturday, Oct. 24. Head coach Andy Reid said the surgery was not major and expects Curtis to play again at some point this season.
The Huddle Take: The loss of Curtis will once again give rookie Jeremy Maclin the start for the Eagles offense and should provide fantasy owners with a solid sleeper to insert in your fantasy lineup. The Eagles will face a Redskins defense that has performed well this season however, if McNabb can rebound with a good game then there is some nice potential here as a bye week filler.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (knee) will not play in Week 7. He is getting another opinion on his knee.
The Huddle Take: DeSean Jackson will probably get the most opportunities against Washington on Monday night, but there could be enough left over for Maclin to put up some decent numbers.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (knee) participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16. He is listed as questionable for Week 6. He will make the trip with the team but it is not known if he will play.
The Huddle Take: Whether or not Curtis plays, rookie Jeremy Maclin will probably take a lot of his opportunities, especially after Maclin's bust-out game last week.

CBSSports.com reports Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid is not yet ready to name WR Jeremy Maclin the team's full-time starter at wide receiver in place of WR Kevin Curtis (knee) despite a strong performance in Week 5. 'We'll see,' Reid said. 'It was a great job by Jeremy. It's great to have two players that we know can play that well.'
The Huddle Take: Curtis owners can probably read the writing on the wall even if Reid doesn't want to come out and say it yet. Maclin may not be the starter in name yet, but he'll likely take a lot of opportunities away from Curtis moving forward.

The Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin will start in the team's Week 5 game, even if WR Kevin Curtis (knee) can play. Curtis, however, is unlikely to play in the game.
The Huddle Take: This is certainly a good opportunity for rookie Jeremy Maclin to show his skills and atheticism that the Eagles liked in him when they selected the receiver in the draft. Maclin could be a solid contributor for this offense during the second half of the season if Kevin Curtis continues to have problems with his knee injury.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 9. He is listed as questionable for Week 5. If he does not play, WR Jeremy Maclin will start in his place.
The Huddle Take: Maclin could be worth a start as your No. 3 WR against a struggling Tampa Bay pass D if Curtis can't go.
Posted: 7/31/2009 2:16pm et
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said WR Kevin Curtis (thigh) suffered a bruised thigh and the team is going to see how that responds. He collided with a defensive back during practice.
The Huddle Take: This probably won't amount to much, but we'll keep an eye on it to see what develops. It seems, though, that Curtis is merely keeping the No. 2 WR seat warm for rookie Jeremy Maclin.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports Eagles WR Kevin Curtis told ABC4 in Provo, Utah, he is 100 percent healthy. Curtis added, "I'm feeling good. I should be ready to roll."
The Huddle Take: Curtis was hampered by a hernia injury last season, but apparently he's all set for the start of training camp. Good news!
Posted: 5/2/2009 4:54pm et
The Philadelphia Daily News reports Eagles head coach Andy Reid said WR Kevin Curtis underwent a second surgical procedure on his groin April 15. Curtis said he expects to be back on the field in June.
The Huddle Take: Curtis added that he is now singing alto in his local choir and oftentimes only dogs can hear him when he speaks. The situation bears monitoring, as Curtis missed seven games last year because of this injury.
