Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker claims he could hit a field goal of more than 84 yards in the ideal conditions. 'We think about these things really specifically, if you send me out there you have a reason for it -- because they think I can make a kick,' Tucker said Thursday, Aug. 4, on NFL Network's Good Morning Football. 'To me it doesn't matter where I just have to hit a good ball. If conditions are prime -- like last season, we opened up in Denver, the weather was warm and the field was nice, you're up in altitude so the ball just carries and in pregame I hit the cross bar from 85. So if the situation is just prime, maybe 84 and a half yards.'

Huddle Up: Just wondering: Should that be worth eight points in leagues that reward bonus points for made kicks longer than 40 yards?

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker agreed to a four-year deal with the Ravens Friday, July 15, worth $16.8 million, according to a source. The deal includes $10.8 million in guaranteed money.

Huddle Up: Despite the Ravens' offensive issues (25th in scoring) last season, Tucker finished as the league's fifth-ranked fantasy kicker and should be under strong consideration as a standard-size league fantasy starter again in drafts this summer.

Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker has vowed not to re-sign with the team after this season if the two sides cannot come to an agreement on a long-term deal before the Friday, July 15 deadline, according to his agent Rob Roche. The franchise tag for kickers this season is $4.5 million, which is what Tucker would be earning if he can't secure his desired long-term contract prior to Friday afternoon.

Huddle Up: Kickers giving ultimatiums? Tucker is one of the few good enough to issue one as the deadline nears.

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker likely wants to receive a better deal than the four-year, $17.2 million deal New England Patriots PK Stephen Gostkowski signed last year. The Ravens have until July 15 to sign Tucker to a long-term deal or he will play under the one-year franchise tender of $4.572 million. In the opinion of CSNMidAtlantic.com's Clifton Brown, the Ravens want to sign Tucker to a new deal and Tucker wants to stay.

Huddle Up: Tucker certainly has a case, scoring at least 128 points in each of his four seasons and converting 75.3 percent of his career regular-season attempts from beyond 40 yards. Due to the Ravens' offensive struggles, though, last season he's fallen from serious PK1 consideration.

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker had the franchise tag placed on him Friday, Feb. 26.

Huddle Up: Tucker is still ranked as one of the league's and fantasy's elite kickers, but it is a tad worrisome that his field-goal accuracy and point totals have gone done each of the last three seasons.
