Huddle Up: The newly acquired Barner had 5 carries for 21 yards and a catch for minus-4 before the injury, but the negative X-ray doesn't necessarily mean Barner escaped serious injury, either. Keep an eye out for updates on the injury's severity.

Huddle Up: No surprise that Kelly has added another of his former Oregon standouts, but the speedy Barner won't be an offensive fantasy factor buried on the Philly RB depth chart -- just as he was in Carolina

Huddle Up: Even with Jonathan Stewart also missing the first 3 games, the Panthers have been strong on the ground, ranking only behind the Eagles so far in rushing yards (151) per game. So between RBs DeAngelo Williams, Mike Tolbert and QB Cam Newton, there are only limited touches available for the rookie when he does come back.

Huddle Up: Barner, the team's 6rh-round pick out of Oregon, showed some preseason flashes and was set to be the No. 2 back behind starter DeAngelo Williams. Now, however, look for Williams and FB Mike Tolbert to get a few extra touches.
