Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Huddle Up: Floyd was limited last week and then ripped Jacksonville for 193 yards and a touchdown. He'll start against the Colts and is a flex play consideration.

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Huddle Up: Floyd is questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville. If he can't go, Andre Roberts will see a bump in targets but he's nothing more than a WR4/5.

Posted: 8/22/2013 12:33pm et

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said WR Michael Floyd has drastically improved in camp. "He has improved dramatically from the first minicamp to now," Arians said. "Route running, his understanding of concepts, hot (reads), the whole package."

Huddle Up: Floyd will definitely play second fiddle to Larry Fitzgerald in the Arizona passing game--and given Arians' propensity for throwing to the slot, maybe even third fiddle behind Andre Roberts. But he's a talented pass-catcher with--finally--a competent quarterback, and if he's getting a grasp of the Arians offense he should start living up to his draft status sooner rather than later.

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd has been deemed a 'given' to break out this season, and the team has made him an important target in minicamps.

Huddle Up: Floyd's fantasy stock is rising to the point that it's almost tough to consider him a sleeper. The Cardinals realize what skills he brings to the table, Arizona's quarterbacking situation has improved, and Larry Fitzgerald is still the guy defenses will focus on. Mix in Bruce Arian's big-strike offense and the reasons are still there for Floyd to break out; he's just not quite as nice a draft-day value as you might expect.

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said he believes WR Michael Floyd is on the verge of having a big season.

Huddle Up: Floyd finished fifth among rookie wideouts with 45 receptions in 2012 and ranked seventh with 562 receiving yards. Those figures are even more impressive considering the Cards' mess of a QB situation last year.

Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd looked impressive in the first day of organized team activities (OTAs) Tuesday, May 14. He ran with the first team more than WR Andre Roberts, who also had a good showing.

Huddle Up: With defenses paying more attention to Larry Fitzgerald there will be opportunities for whomever lines up opposite him. Floyd makes for an intriguing sleeper in that role, with Bruce Arians calling the plays and Carson Palmer an upgrade at quarterback.
