Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (illness) will not travel with the team for their Week 17 game and has been ruled out.

Huddle Up: Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams should receive most of the targets among the receivers this week. Bryant can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver, while owners probably can avoid Williams.

  • Posted: 12/29/2017 3:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (illness) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Beasley was not able to practice this week, so he may be a game-time decision. He has not had a big role in the passing game this season and probably can be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/28/2017 3:22pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: Beasley has had a smaller role in the passing game this season and has recorded at least four catches in only three of his 15 games in 2017. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/27/2017 3:17pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 27, due to illness.

Huddle Up: The possession receiver is expected to be ready for the Week 17 finale in Philadelphia, and he is worth a look as a WR5 in PPR fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 5:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley finished with three receptions for 59 yards on his five targets in Week 14 against the New York Giants.

Huddle Up: Beasley has two or more receptions in seven straight outings, but he remains more of a WR4 in most PPR leagues heading into Week 15 against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 1:34pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught three passes for 59 yards against the New York Giants in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Beasley posted his season high in yards against the Giants and has not been as much of a factor in the passing game has be has been in previous seasons. He may have some value in deeper leagues but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 8:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught four passes for 24 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.

Huddle Up: It was the second time in four games that Beasley has caught two touchdowns, but he hasn't had more than 33 yards in a game this season. The occasional touchdown isn't enough for Beasley to warrant a roster spot.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 5:28am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (concussion) will play in Week 9's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Beasley was listed as questionable on the injury report after suffering a concussion last week versus the Kansas City Chiefs, although he was able to participate on a limited basis in practice Thursday, Nov. 2, and as a full participant Friday, Nov. 3. He doesn't have more than 33 receiving yards in any of his seven games this season and has failed to reach the end zone in six of those contests, so he's not worth starting in any fantasy format.

  • Posted: 11/3/2017 5:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 3, but is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Beasley should be able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs as long as he does not suffer a setback in the next few days. He has been fairly quiet this season and probably can be avoided in most leagues.

  • Posted: 11/2/2017 3:24pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (concussion) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 2.

Huddle Up: This is good news regarding his availability for Sunday after he missed practice on Wednesday, though he still has to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to suit up in Week 9. Even if he does manage to play, he's not a recommended option outside the deepest of leagues. Beasley is yet to reach 35 receiving yards in a game this season.

  • Posted: 10/30/2017 2:39pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (concussion) is in the concussion protocol and is considered day-to-day, according to head coach Jason Garrett.

Huddle Up: Beasley has been a shell of himself in 2017 compared to last year. Through seven games he has only caught 31 balls for 141 yards and two scores. If Beasley does not clear the protocol in time to play this week then Ryan Switzer would take his place. Switzer would be no more than a deep flier, though.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 4:35pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (concussion) was forced out of the Week 8 game against the Washington Redskins due to a concussion.

Huddle Up: Beasley's production has been lagging lately and now he is dealing with a concussion. He can be safely dropped in all standard fantasy formats, and he's not doing a lot for his PPR owners lately either.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 7:17pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley was limited to just one grab for 24 yards on two targets in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Beasley is averaging just 17.0 yards per game over the past four outings and with the exception of his two-touchdown performance in Week 5 he hasn't been much of a fantasy asset, even in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 10/9/2017 4:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley caught four passes for 23 yards and scored two touchdowns in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Beasley's value improves in games like this one. Green Bay's defense targeted WR Dez Bryant, leaving more opportunities for lower-end wideouts to pick up the slack. Beasley may be more effective in these type of matchups. He remains a solid WR3/WR4 candidate.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 8:47pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley racked up four receptions for 33 yards on eight targets in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Beasley is a solid slot receiver and nice WR3/4 in PPR fantasy formats, although the Dallas pass game was mostly shut down early on. Beasley will look for better results in Week 3 against the Cardinals on the road Monday night.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 10:06pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley posted three receptions for 32 yards in Week 1 against the Giants.

Huddle Up: Beasley was targeted five times in the game. His biggest highlight was a ridiculous catch over his shoulder, securing the ball with one hand to the back of his helmet for a reception. He is a decent slot receiver worth using in most PPR formats heading into Week 2 in Denver, especially if Dez Bryant is shaded by Aqib Talib.

  • Posted: 7/24/2017 2:52pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (hamstring) is prepared to receive a full workload in training camp, according to head coach Jason Garrett. Beasley has been hampered by a hamstring injury that sidelined him during offseason activities.

Huddle Up: Beasley is coming off a career year in which he immediately earned the trust of Dak Prescott. It would behoove owners to draft him primarily in PPR leagues, though, as his play style limits his yardage and touchdown ceilings.
