Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 19, and is listed as probable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Sure Fitz isn't going to miss this one, but seriously, for fantasy purposes, it's Ryan Lindley and possibly rookie Logan Thomas at QB going up against the Seahawks' D. You have better WR options.

  • Posted: 12/10/2014 6:08pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) fully practiced Wednesday, Dec. 10, and is probable for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Green light for Fitzgerald owners again this week, albeit in a tough matchup against one of the league's best defenses over the last month.

  • Posted: 12/9/2014 11:48pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Huddle Up: Fitz was targeted a team-high nine times in his return to action on Sunday and figures to be similarly involved Thursday night in St. Louis, although his fantasy owners are hoping for better bottom-line results than the 4-34 performance he had in Week 14.

  • Posted: 12/5/2014 6:09pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is not 100 percent at this point and will be a game-time decision for the team's Week 14 game, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Huddle Up: Ugh as the Cards have a late-afternoon kickoff. Fitzgerald, who's missed the last two games, has been limited all week in practice and would be a risky play anyway given the struggles of QB Drew Stanton and the Arizona offense of late.

  • Posted: 12/4/2014 7:12pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) expects to start in Week 14. He said he's done everything the last two days to get back to the field.

Huddle Up: We heard this last week, and Fitzgerald wound up missing a second straight game. Still, he's certainly a better bet to return Sunday given the extra week of recovery time. In any case, Drew Stanton and the offense can certainly use the veteran's help as they've managed just 13 points over the last 2 games.

  • Posted: 12/3/2014 7:59pm ET

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald returned to practice and is on track to play in Week 14 against the Chiefs. However, with Arizona's offense struggling, Fitz is only a WR3/4 right now.

  • Posted: 11/28/2014 5:54pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 28, and will be a game-time decision for Week 13, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Arians said Fitzgerald will not be limited if he is active for the game.

Huddle Up: Another week, another GTD on Fitz, and -- to the chagrin of fantasy GMs -- it's another late-afternoon kickoff for the Cards.

  • Posted: 11/28/2014 10:25am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) said he's highly unlikely to play in Week 13 Sunday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Fitz is two weeks removed from what is being reported as a Grade 2 MCL sprain, so his unavailability hardly comes as a surprise. The Cards will lean on Michael Floyd and John Brown to pick up the passing game slack this week.

  • Posted: 11/27/2014 4:37pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 27.

Huddle Up: Fitz's Week 12 status remains very much up in the air as he tries to avoid missing a second straight game. Stay tuned, but this appears headed toward another game-time decision.

  • Posted: 11/25/2014 1:13am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is unsure when he will return from his knee injury, according to head coach Bruce Arians. "We still don't know anything about Larry," Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said. "If we were practicing today, he would not practice. We'll see how he improves by Wednesday and go from there." General manager Steve Keim said Fitzgerald remains day-to-day a week after suffering a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament sprain. He was a game-time decision in Week 12 but 'couldn't run,' which led him to be inactive.

Huddle Up: Being unable to run tends to keep WRs out of NFL games, but it still did come down to a GTD so monitor late-week practice reports see if a turnaround is in the Cards for Fitz.

  • Posted: 11/23/2014 11:29pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald's (knee) sprained knee did not respond as hoped before the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks, so he was inactive. He could well miss more games.

Huddle Up: We'll know more about Fitzgerald's status later in the week. John Brown will continue to see more targets if Fitzgerald misses time.

  • Posted: 11/21/2014 3:08pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was not participating during the media-access portion of practice Friday, Nov. 21. Fitzgerald was working on the side during that part of practice.

Huddle Up: It's still shaping up as a late-afternoon game-time decision on Fitz, but it's not looking overly promising with the WR having missed the full week of practice. If he's out, of course expect more targets for Michael Floyd, and the Browns -- John and Jaron.

  • Posted: 11/20/2014 4:00pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) was not participating during the media-access portion of practice Thursday, Nov. 20.

Huddle Up: That two straight missed practices for Fitz. See what transpires Friday, but it has the look of a game-time decision Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

  • Posted: 11/17/2014 10:14pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) should be able to play in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Bruce Arians. 'We'll see how sore he is Wednesday and how much it limits him, and we'll go from there,' Arians said. Fitzgerald had his knee taped and played with a brace in the second half in Week 11 after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

Huddle Up: Fitz definitely doesn't want to miss the first of two remaining games against the Seahawks, and his fantasy owners should have a good idea on his Sunday status after seeing what he's able to do in practice this week.

  • Posted: 11/17/2014 2:06pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his knee, but he's expecting to play in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. However, it's not a lock that Fitzgerald will play.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald will try to play through the strain but he should be considered questionable at this point. Rookie John Brown will be the biggest beneficiary if Fitzgerald is out Sunday against Seattle.

  • Posted: 11/17/2014 10:09am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) will have an MRI on Monday, Nov. 17 to determine the seriousness of an injury to his left knee. The injury is thought to be to his medial collateral ligament.

Huddle Up: The Cards keep taking injury hits, but one to Fitzgerald is one they can ill afford to take. Michael Floyd and John Brown would need to step up in Fitz's absence should he be sidelined for any extended length of time.

  • Posted: 9/9/2014 10:38am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald managed just one reception for 22 yards in Week 1 against the San Diego Chargers Monday, Sept 8, and that catch did not come until the fourth quarter.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald was lightly targeted, not even seeing the ball until late in the second half. Whether it was a case of Michael Floyd being more open, the Chargers rotating coverage to Fitzgerald, or something else it's one more sign of the changing of the guard in Arizona's passing game pecking order.

  • Posted: 2/4/2014 11:52pm ET

The Arizona Cardinals have created $9.4 million in salary cap space by restructuring the contract of WR Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald's 2015 salary cap figure has increased to $23.6 million because of the restructuring.

Huddle Up: This still doesn't necessarily rule out the Cards trading Fitz, but it does make it more likely that he'll remain with the only franchise he's known.

  • Posted: 1/30/2014 8:46pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said he is willing to restructure his contract if that is what needs to be done. 'Absolutely. If that's what needs to be done, that's what needs to be done,' Fitzgerald said.

Huddle Up: Fitz is a frequent subject of offseason trade rumors, but he's a fan favorite in the desert, and neither side seems to have any inclination to part ways at this point.

  • Posted: 1/28/2014 11:37pm ET

The New England Patriots were interested in trading for Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald last offseason, according to a trusted source of CSNNE.com's Tom E. Curran.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald and Brady would be quite the interesting pairing, but it's hard to envision the Cards trading away the fan favorite unless the Pats extended an offer they couldn't refuse. Definitely a rumor to track this offseason.

  • Posted: 1/2/2014 5:21pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has an $18 million cap figure for 2014, with his salary due to increase from $5 million in 2013 to $12.75 million in 2014. Based on his current deal, Fitzgerald would account for about 14.3 percent of the team's salary cap. The team has not approached Fitzgerald's agent about a restructure, but Fitzgerald isn't interested in a pay cut. He might be open to restructuring if that converts salary into a bonus that can be prorated over the next few years.

Huddle Up: Definitely look for some kind of restructured deal for Fitzgerald, who has posted back-to-back sub-1,000-yard receiving seasons and has averaged only 11.5 yards per catch over the last 2 seasons.
