Huddle Up: This still doesn't necessarily rule out the Cards trading Fitz, but it does make it more likely that he'll remain with the only franchise he's known.

Huddle Up: Fitz is a frequent subject of offseason trade rumors, but he's a fan favorite in the desert, and neither side seems to have any inclination to part ways at this point.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald and Brady would be quite the interesting pairing, but it's hard to envision the Cards trading away the fan favorite unless the Pats extended an offer they couldn't refuse. Definitely a rumor to track this offseason.

Huddle Up: Definitely look for some kind of restructured deal for Fitzgerald, who has posted back-to-back sub-1,000-yard receiving seasons and has averaged only 11.5 yards per catch over the last 2 seasons.

Huddle Up: Looks like Fitz is a go for this weekend, though a matchup with Richard Sherman will provide headaches of a different sort for both Fitzgerald and his fantasy owners.

Huddle Up: All lights are green for Fitz at this point, although his fantasy owners' reward will be a rugged matchup against the Seahawks' pass D.
Posted: 12/17/2013 10:34pm ET
Huddle Up: It sounds like you can begin pencilling in Fitzgerald as a starter, but the overriding concern here is the road matchup with the Seahawks' D, which allows the fewest points to opposing fantasy wideouts.

Huddle Up: Fitz obviously still has a ways to go this week, so keep an eye on his daily progress reports.

Huddle Up: His father tweeted that he had passed his concussion tests this morning, but that is not the case just yet. Hopefully Fitzgerald will recover in time for Sunday, but he gets Richard Sherman in Seattle if he does play.
Posted: 12/16/2013 10:47am ET
Huddle Up: Fitz will need to go through the league-mandated concussion protocol, so we won't likely know his availability for Week 16 until Friday or Saturday.
Posted: 10/28/2013 2:55pm ET
Huddle Up: Of course they aren't. Why would they? Meanwhile, Carson Palmer might not be Aaron Rodgers, but he has already gotten Fitzgerald above his 2012 touchdown totals.
Posted: 10/23/2013 12:59am ET
Huddle Up: Fitz is coming off his worst game (2-17) of the season, and if missing an early-week day of practice or two can help, then his fantasy owners will petition to make it mandatory.
Posted: 10/18/2013 1:07am ET
Huddle Up: Fitz's fantasy owners had flashbacks of 2012 as he finished with season lows in catches, yards and targets (5). His lingering hamstring issue no doubt affected him, but the Seahawks' strong secondary and pass rush deserves most of the credit/blame.

Huddle Up: This is positive news, but it could be a rough week against Richard Sherman and the Seahawks.
Posted: 10/15/2013 12:54am ET
Huddle Up: Larry Fitz played and played well (6-117-TD) in Week 6 despite the injury and there were no reports of any setbacks. Despite the short week at hand, expect him to be good to go in a tough matchup against a physical Seattle secondary.
Posted: 10/14/2013 12:48am ET
Huddle Up: The hits keep on coming for Larry Fitzgerald, whose owners might have been spooked into sitting him this afternoon before he went off for a big game. If he is gimpy this week, he could miss the next game.
Posted: 9/27/2013 10:08pm ET
Huddle Up: Fitz should be after practicing in full all week, and now the focus shifts to his production as he hasn't come close to matching his Week 1 production (8-80-2 TDs) over the past 2 weeks (a combined 7-97-0).
Posted: 9/25/2013 6:03pm ET
Huddle Up: This is good to hear. Hopefully Fitzgerald puts those hamstring issues behind him and gets back to Week 1 form.
Posted: 9/20/2013 7:33pm ET
Huddle Up: It's going to be hard to keep a player like Fitzgerald out of the lineup, so expect him to play on Sunday. He may be a little limited but Fitz has a nice match-up against the Saints. Consider him a WR2 this week in case the hamstring flares up again.
Posted: 9/19/2013 4:44pm ET
Huddle Up: Hey, it was a small step for Fitz after he sat out Wednesday's workouts, but there's still nothing clarified as far as his Sunday status goes, so stay tuned.
Posted: 9/18/2013 11:42pm ET
Huddle Up: Fitzgerald played last week but was obviously bothered by his hamstring, even taking himself out of the game at times. If rest is what he needs, then it's worth missing practice to get him healthy. Monitor his health closely over the next couple of days but Fitzgerald will likely be in the starting lineup against the Saints come Sunday.

Huddle Up: This is encouraging news heading forward. Staying out of the game late might have saved him for the near future. Keep an eye on Fitzgerald this week.
Posted: 9/15/2013 8:50pm ET
Huddle Up: He was being rotated out of the game before getting taken out of the game altogether. This is troubling—hopefully he can heal up quickly, but he might be held out for a week or two while that hamstring heals.
Posted: 9/15/2013 5:18pm ET
Huddle Up: He is in and playing well against the Lions.
Posted: 9/11/2013 9:23pm ET
Huddle Up: Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts (quad) were both limited in practice but are expected to play on Sunday. Fitzgerald is locked in as a WR1 against Detroit, while Roberts can be used as a flex play in PPR formats.
