Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ribs) is determined to play in the team's Week 17 game after missing Week 16. 'I'm playing. There's no chance that I'll sit out this game,' Wright said.

Huddle Up: The rookie's determination is to be admired, but it's going to be hard to put much fantasy faith in a wideout who's coming off a Week 16 absence due to a fractured rib.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (rib) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: Wright is dealing with a cracked rib he suffered in Week 15, and it would be a surprise if he plays Sunday in the Titans' meaningless regular-season finale.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (rib) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is questionable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: It's not looking good for Wright, who has been a decent fantasy option this season. If you are relying on him for this weekend, it might be time to find an alternative.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ribs) has ruled himself out of the team's Week 16 game with one or two cracked ribs. Wright does want to play in the season finale.

Huddle Up: Those with fellow Titans' WRs Kenny Britt and Nate Washington can expect a few more targets for their guys Sunday.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ribs) was unable to practice Wednesday, Dec. 19. He has a cracked rib, and he is unlikely to play in Week 16. However, head coach Mike Munchak said Wright might be ready for the regular-season finale.

Huddle Up: Definitely something to take note of here as Wright is the Titans' leading receiver with 62 catches and hasn't missed a game all season. If Wright is out, the fantasy stocks of Nate Washington and Kenny Britt deserve a small bump.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said he suffered a cracked rib in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Given Wright's secondary role in the Tennessee passing game, and the overall struggles of the Titans' offense, there's not a whole lot of fantasy import to this news.

Posted: 11/7/2012 7:04pm et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (elbow) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Huddle Up: Wright left in the third quarter of this past Sunday's game when his elbow got dinged in the loss to the Bears and he finished with a season fantasy-low 2 catches for 30 yards. To be able, though, to fully participate in the week's first practice bodes well for his Week 10 status.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright left Sunday's Week 9 game in the third quarter because of an elbow injury, and did not return.

Huddle Up: We'll wait to hear more about the rookie Wright, who finished with 2 catches for 30 yards in the blowout loss.

Posted: 10/20/2012 12:35pm et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright is tied for first in the NFL with 14 receptions on third down. The team has not been targeting Wright much down field as he is averaging just 8.6 yards per catch. The Titans have utilized him mainly on slants and shallow crossing routes so far; however, that figures to change as the season progresses. 'I think that will come,' offensive coordinator Chris Palmer said. 'I know his yards per catch is not good, but that's a little bit by design. We haven't asked him to do some things further down the field. As he grows as a player, I think he'll continue to get better, his understanding of the pro game will get better. (But) if you look at his production, it's very, very good.'

Huddle Up: The rookie has been a pleasant fantasy surprise, but some additional down field action would make Wright the breakout fantasy player many hoped for this year.

Posted: 10/12/2012 12:15am et

WR Kendall Wright led the Tennessee Titans with 6 catches for 71 yards Thursday night in a 26-23 Week 6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Wright, the Titans' first-round pick, did his modest damage on 8 targets to lead the team in receptions for the fourth straight game. Over that span, Wright has 26 grabs for 224 yards and a TD to firmly establish himself as a fantasy factor.

Posted: 9/3/2012 6:08pm et

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said WR Kendall Wright will be one of the starting wide receivers Week 1.

Huddle Up: With a shortage of available receivers Wright looks to be thrown into the fire right away, so he is going to have a chance to establish himself right out of the gate. This is good news for those that drafted the talented rookie.

Posted: 8/24/2012 11:13am et

Tennessee Titans rookie WR Kendall Wright caught four passes for 44 yards and a touchdown in the team's preseason win over the Arizona Cardinals Thursday, Aug. 23.

Huddle Up: Wright continues to make a push for a significant role in the Titans' passing game, especially with Kenny Britt unreliable and Nate Washington aging. Jake Locker certainly knows where to find him, which can only help his fantasy value in both dynasty and redraft leagues.

Posted: 8/3/2012 11:35pm et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said Friday, Aug. 3, that he is ready to practice without any restrictions Saturday, Aug. 4.

Huddle Up: The Titans have high hopes for the former Baylor speedster, who was selected with the 20th overall pick in April's draft. Wright signed a 4-year deal with Tennessee on Wednesday and is now ready for his first practice in pads Saturday. With top receiver Kenny Britt rehabbing both of his knees and dealing with continuing off-the- field issues, Wright will be counted on early and often this season. He's among the early front-runners to be the most productive rookie wideout.

Posted: 8/1/2012 1:07am et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright signed a four-year deal worth $8.3 million, all of it guaranteed. He's the second-to-last rookie first-rounder to sign. Only No.5 overall pick WR Justin Blackmon (Jaguars) remains unsigned.

Huddle Up: Wright has truly been a standout in off-season workouts. He could be in line for a much bigger role if Kenny Britt misses action early in the season (whether because of a suspension or his knees).

Posted: 7/16/2012 3:15am et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has a good chance to enter training camp as the No. 3 wide receiver.

Huddle Up: Chris Palmer has a track record of putting his rookie wide receivers to immediate and effective use, so if Kenny Britt's knee isn't good to go early on expect Wright to see more looks than your typical WR3.

Posted: 6/14/2012 10:48pm et

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury during practice Thursday, June 14. He underwent an x-ray on the shoulder but it did not show any structural damage and was diagnosed with a right shoulder strain. He is expected to be held out of minicamp next week.

Huddle Up: "He's going to be fine," Mike Munchak said. "They checked him out and he is OK."

Posted: 6/7/2012 6:33pm et

Tennessee Titans DC Jerry Gray told Nashville's 102.5 FM that rookie WR Kendall Wright 'is a weapon.'

Huddle Up: Normally we tend to ignore the puff pieces on rookies, but when a defensive coordinator compliments an offensive player it's a little different. Jerry Gray has been coaching defense in the NFL for 15 years but rarely speaks to the media. "He [Wright] plays so fast and you can use him at special teams. There is no limit," Gray said.
