Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 13. He is listed as questionable for Week 10 but is expected to play.
The Huddle Take: Berrian seems like almost a no-brainer play at home against the woeful Lion pass defense, but his hamstring problem is a big concern. He may light it up for two TDs and 120 yards, or he may aggravate the problem on his first play from scrimmage and have to sit out the rest of the game. The risk is too great to recommend Berrian as a Fantasy start with any confidence.

Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 12, but will start in Week 10.
The Huddle Take: Berrian is a true speed threat. But, as will all speed guys, hamstrings raise a bright, flaming red flag. He could be fine for the whole game, or he could pop a hammy on his first burst off the line. If he were healthy he'd be a no-brainer start at home against the woeful Lion secondary, but proceed with extreme caution regarding Berrian, and look for a more stable No. 3 WR option for your lineup this week.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 30, and is questionable for Week 8.
The Huddle Take: Not only has Berrian been passed in the Viking WR pecking order by Sydney Rice, now he has a hamstring problem -- an absolute killer for someone who relies on his speed to make plays. If you're a Berrian owner, you should keep him on your bench this week, because even if he does play he'll probably be extremely limited. You may be better served by simply cutting Berrian and looking for a free agent replacement.

The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian suffered a strained hamstring in Week 7.
The Huddle Take: Berrian aggravated the same hamstring injury that bothered him earlier in the season. The emergence of Sidney Rice should help the Vikings deal with any potential absence of Berrian from the lineup, but it does limit what has become a pretty potent Minnesota passing game.

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian is participating at the start of practice Friday, Sept. 11.
The Huddle Take: Berrian has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the Vikings' first preseason game, so he hasn't had any game action with Brett Favre. At least the two can put on the Wranglers and play some catch before the season starts.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian was participating during the media-access portion of practice Thursday, Sept. 10.
The Huddle Take: Maybe Berrian will get a chance to catch a pass or two from Brett Favre before the season starts, as he's been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the Vikings' exhibition opener and Favre didn't join the team until after that game.

Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian is hoping to return to practice this week, but he admitted his hamstring remains a little sore. He said he did a lot of running Sunday, Aug. 23, in the pool and is encouraged.
The Huddle Take: The Vikings currently have no games schedule to be played in a pool, so Berrian needs to get on dry land and start catching some balls from Brett Favre to warrant consideration as a fantasy WR2.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring) jogged Friday, Aug. 21. Berrian tweeted that he hopes to return to 100 percent soon. He is not playing in the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 21, against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Huddle Take: Berrian's Fantasy value is higher now that Brett Favre is his quarterback, and since he's jogging he may indeed hit that 100 percent mark by Week 1. He probably shouldn't be your No. 1 or No. 2 wide receiver, but he'd make a good No. 3 if healthy.
Posted: 12/22/2008 12:19pm et
Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian's status for the team's Week 17 game is uncertain after spraining his left ankle in Week 16.
The Huddle Take: Should the Bears lose to Green Bay on Monday night the Vikings' playoff berth would be secured and Berrian could get healthy for the postseason. Otherwise Week 17 may be a must-win game for the Vikings, who'll need a healthy Berrian to beat the Giants even though New York has already wrapped up home field throughout the playoffs.
