Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said Wednesday, Nov. 27, that WR Da'Rick Rogers will make his team debut in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans. 'He's going to get his shot,' Pagano said.

Huddle Up: He might be making his debut, but how much he will impact the game is certainly nebulous in nature at this point. Rogers has great talent, though, and he should be a better option than Darrius Heyward-Bey and Griff Whalen.

The Indianapolis Colts have declared WR Da'Rick Rogers, SS Delano Howell, CB Greg Toler, CB Josh Gordy, LB Kelvin Sheppard, C Khaled Holmes, DL Montori Hughes inactive for Week 11.

Huddle Up: The Colts have talked about giving the undrafted Rogers some opportunities to show what he can do in their search for WR help, but that chance will have at wait at least 10 days.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said WR Da'Rick Rogers could work himself into a prominent role in the offense for the rest of the season. 'You've got a talented football player,' Pagano said, citing Rogers' size, speed and big-play ability. 'Now we are going to give him an opportunity because he's earned it.' Rogers has apparently learned the system quickly. Rogers could push WRs Griff Whalen and LaVon Brazill for the No. 3 wideout job.

Huddle Up: Reggie Wayne's season-ending knee injury has left the Colts in a lurch, and the team is searching for answers opposite T.Y. Hilton with Whalen, Brazill and Darrius Heyward-Bey unable to step up so far.

The Indianapolis Colts waived WR Da'Rick Rogers and RB Kerwynn Williams from the active roster Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Huddle Up: Rogers was promoted off the practice squad just last week, but the undrafted rookie didn't play in the Week 3 win in San Fran and now is on the open market for the second time this season after getting waived by the Bills in August.

The Indianapolis Colts signed WR Da'Rick Rogers to the practice squad.

Huddle Up: An undrafted free agent, Rogers is a talented receiver whose off-field issues torpedoed his draft stock. After being released by the Bills, he'll have a chance to hone his craft and get his head right in Indy. No fantasy impact yet, but with Reggie Wayne aging and Darrius Heyward-Bey hardly set he could be a Colt contributor sooner rather than later.

Former Buffalo Bills WR Da'Rick Rogers cleared waivers Wednesday, Aug. 28, and is now an unrestricted free-agent. He can be signed to the practice squad any time after 6pm ET Saturday, Aug. 31, once the 53-man rosters are set.

Huddle Up: Rogers has talent, but off-the-field issues derailed his college career and he may be playing catch-up at the NFL level. A year on the practice squad might allow him to adjust to the league both personally and professionally and then capitalize on his unique athletic gifts.

Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix said Tuesday, April 30, that the team had a first-to-second round grade on WR Da'Rick Rogers, whom the team signed as an undrafted free agent. "Being from Tennessee, I've known his background," Nix said. "He's from Calhoun, Georgia, I knew him when he was playing in high school. The guy's got tremendous talent. He's made some bad decisions. It's gotten him in trouble. Got him out of the University of Tennessee, from an All-SEC performance in his sophomore year, and he goes to Tennessee Tech where he has a so-so year. He played down to the level of competition, really. But this guy's talented. He can play. The ball's in his court. He goes by the rules, and does like he's supposed to, or he goes somewhere else."

Huddle Up: There's little question about Rogers' talent, but off-field concerns knocked him all the way out of the draft. He'll have an opportunity in Buffalo, and if he can stay out of his own way he could emerge as a key component in what might turn out to be a talented Bills' receiving corps.

The Buffalo Bills are taking a low-risk, high-reward chance on WR Da'Rick Rogers, who was signed as an undrafted free agent Saturday, April 27. Rogers had the physical tools to be a draft pick, but poor off-field judgment hurt his stock and raised red flags. "It's frustrating, but I did it to myself," Rogers said at the NFL Scouting Combine. "And I realize how hard I have to work now that I'm behind the 8-ball. It's going to make me work that much harder."

Huddle Up: Rogers is incredibly talented and has a real opportunity in Buffalo. He could battle Robert Woods and T.J. Wright for the starting job opposite Stevie Johnson, but at minimum he should be in the regular receiver rotation.
