The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Mewelde Moore rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in the team's Week 7 game. He also caught five passes for 14 yards and one touchdown in the game. The three touchdowns were a career high for Moore.

The Huddle Take: Moore was a fantasy force in relief of the injured Willie Parker during Week 7 and could see some significant action in Week 8 as well. Despite his performance this week don't look to Moore as a worthy starter for Week 8 as the Steelers battle a stout N.Y. Giant defense. Moore continues to carry the load but that could end very soon as Willie Parker appears ready to return.

The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Mewelde Moore had 17 carries for 99 rushing yards during the team's Week 5 game. Moore caught three passes for 17 receiving yards during the game.

The Huddle Take: Moore was the last man standing in the Pittsburgh backfield after injuries felled Willie Parker, Rashard Mendenhall, and Cary Davis. He acquitted himself quite nicely in the win over Jacksonville and has likely earned himself playing time even when Parker returns from his knee injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Mewelde Moore probably will be the team's starting running back in their Week 5 game.

The Huddle Take: They're falling like flies in the Steeler backfield, now it is Moore's chance to shine. He's performed well in this role in the past, so could be in for a nice spot start big week. If you can grab him, it's worth it.
