Tampa Bay Buccaneers PK Lawrence Tynes is not responding at all to treatment for a severe staph infection in his toe, according to his wife Amanda. "I hear my husband is responding 'well,' to treatment. LOL! He's NOT responding at all yet. This is our #bucslife," she posted on Twitter.
Huddle Up: With Tynes hobbled, the Bucs have Rian Lindell and Derek Dimke sharing kicking duties, with a roster decision looming next week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers PK Lawrence Tynes (toe) and OG Carl Nicks (toe) have been diagnosed with MRSA, which is a serious staph infection that is resistant to penicillin-type treatment. Tynes had surgery this week on his infected toe. The Buccaneers recently had their facility cleaned and sanitized to try to erase all of the bacteria.
Huddle Up: This is nasty stuff which can crop up from time to time in locker-room facilities despite the best precautions. The chief concern is keeping the bacteria from spreading and avoiding a team outbreak.
