The Associated Press reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker caught 10 passes for a career high 150 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6.
The Huddle Take: Welker was another New England receiver posting huge numbers in a record setting performance in Week 6 by the Patriots. Despite the knee injury that has caused him problems to start the year, Welker appeared healthy and showed the skills that have made him a valuable weapon in the New England offense. Fantasy owners should view Welker as a solid No. 2 receiver with big game potential everytime he hits the field.

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) participated in practice Friday, Oct. 16. He is not on the injury report for Week 6.
The Huddle Take: That's good, for a change. Welker has a chance for huge numbers this week against an incredibly depleted Tennessee secondary.

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 15.
The Huddle Take: This is getting to be a weekly ritual for Welker, but he's made it to the field the last couple weeks and is expected to do so again here.

The Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was limited during the team's practice Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Huddle Take: Welker returned to form in a big way last week and fantasy owners should expect more of the same. If Tom Brady can return to his pre-injury form then the Patriots will once again produce fantasy numbers at a record pace especially with some juicy matchups coming down the road. Welker is a solid No. 2 option for all fantasy league formats when he is fully healthy.

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 2. He is listed as questionable for Week 4 and may be able to play.
The Huddle Take: Welker is iffy on playing in Week 4 and would likely be limited in his touches even if he does. Fantasy owners should temper their expectations of Welker until he gets a game under his belt and looks like he is returning to form.

ESPN reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) did not work during practice Friday, Sept. 25, but will be a game-time decision for Week 3.
The Huddle Take: Gotta love that game-time decision. It was pretty shocking news when Welker couldn't go last week, but if you can wait until right up to kickoff of the noon games Sunday to submit your lineup, check The Huddle and we'll have the final word on whether or not Welker can go.

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 24.
The Huddle Take: Welker is one of Tom Brady's favorite targets and brings much more potential to the offense when he is not limited by an injury like this. It is apparent that the injury could limit the talented receiver the next few weeks which will likely cause opposing defenses to concentrate more on Randy Moss in a double covered scenario.

Shalise Manza Young, of The Providence Journal, reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker was present during the media-access portion of practice Thursday, Sept. 24.
The Huddle Take: Certainly the Patriots want Welker back in the lineup; however, Julian Edelman did a pretty good Welker impersonation in last week's loss to the Patriots and would capably step in if Welker can't answer the bell in Week 3.

The Boston Globe reports New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was not present during the media-access portion of practice Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The Huddle Take: Nor did he participate in the rest of practice. Welker continues to sit out practice sessions while he nurses his knee back to normal. Look for him to only practice on a limited basis late in the week, if at all and for his playing status to be in question going into Sunday's game.

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 18. He is listed as questionable for Week 2 but is expected to play.
The Huddle Take: Welker's as tough as it comes. Don't worry about putting him in your lineup this week.
