Jeff Darlington, of the Miami Herald, reports Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is believed to have a Lisfranc fracture in his right foot.
The Huddle Take: If true, this is potentially devastating news for Brown. This is the same injury that knocked Duce Staley out for an entire season, and it's no guarantee Brown can come all the way back from Lisfranc surgery.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Miami Dolphins placed RB Ronnie Brown (foot) on the Injured Reserve List Wednesday, Nov. 18, ending his 2009 season.
The Huddle Take: After days of speculation we now know how bad Browns' foot injury is. He'll miss the rest of the season and the Miami wildcat offense (and offense in general) takes a huge hit. Early reports are that the Dolphins will try to wildcat on with Ricky Williams taking the snaps.

ESPN.com reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (foot) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 game Thursday, Nov. 19.
The Huddle Take: No shock here, obviously. And don't be surprised if Brown misses at least one or two more games. In the interim, Ricky Williams takes over as the No. 1 rushing option, with the little-known Lex Hilliard expected to take a few snaps when the Dolphins go into their Wildcat formation.

Omar Kelly, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (foot), who will likely miss the team's Week 11 game, not only can't walk without the assistance of crutches, but his foot problem is a bit more serious than the medical staff initially thought. He's presently battling soreness in his right foot, which was initially diagnosed as an ankle sprain. There is a possibility Brown will be sent to see a specialist within the next two days because the injury could sideline him for more than Week 11.
The Huddle Take: This is looking like a potential season-ending injury for Brown, or, at the very least, one that could sideline him for at least two to three weeks.
Posted: 11/16/2009 5:03pm et
Updating previous reports, FOXSports.com reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (ankle, foot) is also dealing with a foot injury to go along with his ankle injury. The Dolphins are more concerned about foot injury he suffered.
The Huddle Take: Brown could be out for quite a while. If you've been counting on him as a big part of your Fantasy roster, operate under the assumption that you'll be without him during your playoff push.

The Miami Herald reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (ankle) will likely miss the teams Week 11 game after suffering a sprained ankle in Week 10.
The Huddle Take: Unless the Dolphins go out and sign Larry Johnson or some other running back, Ricky Williams will likely take over as the undisputed No. 1 RB in Miami and get the lion's share of carries in Thursday night's game against the Panthers.
Posted: 11/15/2009 9:45pm et
Updating an ongoing story, The Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (ankle) said X-rays on his injured ankle were negative. Brown said he would undergo more tests Monday, Nov. 16. Brown was on crutches after the team's Week 10 game.
The Huddle Take: The injury to Brown is of definite concern to Miami who played well enough to win in Week 10 against a game Tampa Bay team. Brown is the heart and soul of the Miami Wildcat offense and his injury would certainly present even more challenges for a team that has struggled at times this season to score points. Fantasy owners should expect Ricky Williams to get an increased role in the offense if Brown is out for any length of time.

The Miami Herald reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown would welcome a contract extension, but Brown and his agent, Todd France, said there are no ongoing talks with the team. 'I would like it because it would be one less thing for everybody to have to worry about,'' Brown said. Brown would be a free agent next spring if there is a labor agreement reached by February. Otherwise, he is signed through 2010.
The Huddle Take: A big night against the Jets on Monday Night Football could go a long way toward making those extension talks heat up.

Mike Berardino, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown entered the season in great shape, which has been a key to his strong season thus far. 'When I stand behind him the day of the game and he's got those white pants on and I see that powerful engine, I say to myself, 'That guy is ready to go,' ' offensive coordinator Dan Henning said. 'He's worked hard. When we came to camp, he was in better condition. He could run longer. He was stronger. I just knew he was going to be in position to do well this year.'
The Huddle Take: Ricky Williams is always in the mix, but since week one Brown has averaged 21 carries a game and the Dolphins obviously feel he can handle whatever workload they give him. He's also the most likely "quarterback" taking the snaps in the wildcat offense formations.
Posted: 9/22/2009 10:07am et
Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown rushed for 136 yards in Week 2, including 62 yards in the Wildcat formation, taking a direct snap each time.
The Huddle Take: Brown also added a non-Wildcat touchdown. He rebounded well from his opening week dud against Atlanta, and should be a good Fantasy start this week against the Chargers.
