The Akron Beacon Journal reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards insisted that he was not trying to orchestrate a trade when he said after a Week 15 loss that he felt 'unappreciated' and that he's a ''marked man' because he played at Michigan. 'I don't want to be traded,' Edwards said. 'I made it clear I wanted to be part of what this team does next year. I want to make plays. I want to have fun. And I just want to enjoy it. I don't know, maybe I care too much.''
The Huddle Take: Edwards' stock arguably dropped lower this season than any other player in Fantasy Football. Some people will still draft him because of his name, but he'll probably slide to the nether regions of a lot of drafts next season.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards had eight receptions for 104 yards in Week 11.
The Huddle Take: Edwards didn't score and it was still one of his best games of the season, which tells you what kind of season he's had. Edwards has only three touchdowns and has cracked the 100-yard mark only twice. His performance against Buffalo could be a sign that he's finally breaking out of his funk and will play up to his potential the rest of the way. Or it could be an aberration. It's got to be extremely hard for Edwards' owners to trust him going forward.

Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards had five receptions for 154 yards with a touchdown Week 6.
The Huddle Take: This one came out of nowhere, basically. Edwards had been one of the biggest busts of 2008 before that breakout game. Can he feed off of that performance and be a consistent Fantasy starter? You've got to stay with the hot hand for Week 7 at least, even if the Browns are playing at Washington.

The Medina County Gazette reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (shoulder) played in Week 4.
The Huddle Take: He got into the end zone, but do you really call three catches for 22 yards "playing?" Edwards is in the running for top fantasy bust this season. He and the rest of the Browns will get a bye week to try and figure out how to get their offense going.

The Medina County Gazette reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 25. He is expected to play in the team's Week 4 game.
The Huddle Take: Edwards' performance will go a long way toward determining whether or not Derek Anderson keeps his starting job. There's a good chance the Cleveland passing game will get well against the Bengals.

The Medina County Gazette reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 19. He is listed as questionable for Week 3.
The Huddle Take: With Donte Stallworth also iffy, the Browns may have to rely a lot more on Kellen Winslow, Jr. and Syndric Steptoe in the passing game. If Edwards can't go, the Browns will also probably utilize Jamal Lewis and the running game much more. And that won't be easy to do against Baltimore. You may want to avoid any Browns this week if you can.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards caught three passes for 32 yards Week 2, but he also dropped two passes.
The Huddle Take: With at least two drops—more, according to some sources for the unofficial stat—in the Browns' Week 1 loss to the Cowboys, Edwards seems well on his way to defending his title as league drops leader. A lack of preseason work with Derek Anderson is partially to blame, and the weather conditions in Week 2 certainly didn't help. But so far this year Edwards has done little to justify his lofty preseason ranking and fantasy draft position.

According to The Associated Press, Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards dropped several catchable passes during Week 1—including one that would have been a touchdown. He and QB Derek Anderson struggled to regain their chemistry after both missed time during training camp and preseason with injury problems. Edwards expects the team to rebound offensively in Week 2, noting he and Anderson have spent extra time together this week rebuilding their timing to shake off the rust.
The Huddle Take: Cleveland's tough matchup might prevent the extra work from showing up on the fantasy scoresheet this week, but those who were burned by Edwards and Anderson in Week 1 will be happy to know the duo is at least aware of the problem and taking steps to fix it.

The Medina County Gazette reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (foot) participated in practice Friday, Sept. 5. He is not on the injury report for Week 1 and is expected to start.
The Huddle Take: Not being on the injury report at all is a fantastic bonus. Edwards owners should be thrilled and ready to see their star shine. A safe, must start this weekend.
Posted: 9/3/2008 6:03pm et
The Medina County Gazette reports Cleveland Browns WR Braylon Edwards (foot) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 3. He will start Week 1.
The Huddle Take: The foot injury that Edwards suffered during the preseason looks to be better which will enable the Browns No. 1 receiver to return to the field in time for the start of the season against the Cowboys. Fantasy owners should likely expect Edwards' numbers to be a little lower than usual in Week 1 since he has missed some time with the first team offense and will have to shake off the rust. He is poised for a nice year in the Cleveland offense.
