Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White is 27 yards shy of a 1,000-yard season. Reaching 1,000 yards on the year would make him the first Atlanta receiver to accomplish back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons since 1998-99. He is also on pace for a team record 1,415 yards receiving, which would make him the first receiver in team history to have back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons.

The Huddle Take: White has been a nice surprise this year and has become the favorite weapon of Matt Ryan. Expect solid performances going forward as the team fights for a playoff position and continues using its powerful running game to open up deep passing lanes.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (back) is expected to play in the team's Week 13 game.

The Huddle Take: White's numbers were pretty much in line with what he'd done in three of his four prior games, so the back probably wasn't much of an issue. So at this time there's no need to worry about White not being ready to roll this week.

Updating a previous report, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (back) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 12 game but is expected to play.

The Huddle Take: White is dealing with a deep bruise in his back that kept him out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. It doesn't sound like he'll miss this week's game against Carolina, but check back with us throughout the weekend to be sure.

The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White caught five passes for 102 yards in the team's Week 11 game. It was his fifth 100-yard receiving game this season.

The Huddle Take: The Falcons have found that life with a rookie quarterback is not as bad as some might think as Matt Ryan and Roddy White have developed a nice chemistry on offense this season. Fantasy owners that grabbed White in the middle to late rounds of their drafts have likely been smiling as other top receivers have struggled to come close to the numbers he has posted this season.

Updating a previous report The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (head) was not cleared to practice this week after suffering a head injury. He needs to be cleared before playing in the team's Week 6 game, and the Falcons are expected to determine his availability Saturday, Oct. 11. He seems likely to be cleared but it is still uncertain.

The Huddle Take: White will be a game-time decision on Sunday but it appears there's a good chance he doesn't play. Backups Harry Douglas and Brian Finneran would fill in if White can’t go as Laurent Robinson won't play Sunday.

The Huddle Take: White said the collision he had with Lawyer Malloy on Thursday was "no big deal." This is probably a case of the Falcons being extra careful, but make sure you check back with us throughout the weekend for the latest.

The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White caught eight passes for 132 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 5 game.

The Huddle Take: The main reason this is news is because it came against a pretty solid Green bay defense. White seems to be building his confidence with Matt Ryan and this duo could be in for some more big days ahead.
