Huddle Up: Putting aside last season's injury-addled 63-711-3 disappointment, White got rewarded for his 6-year stretch of excellence from 2007-12 in which he averaged 94 catches, 1,296 yards and 8 TDs per season. Set to turn 33 in November, White is on the wrong side of 30, but definitely look for his 2014 numbers to be closer to his heyday figures than his 2013 stats.

Huddle Up: In the grand scope of NFL off-field transgressions we've encountered over the past few seasons, illegal window tint isn't anything to waste any more discussion about so we won't.

Huddle Up: After overcoming the ankle and hamstring injuries that hampered much of the season, White showed he definitely has plenty left, catching 43 passes for 502 yards and a pair of TDs over the Falcons' final 5 games.

Huddle Up: Makes sense for the Falcons to want to lock down White, especially with Tony Gonzalez riding off into the sunset. A healthy White flashed some reminders of his considerable skill late in the season, and if Atlanta wants to continue with the White/Jones tandem they'll want to get Roddy taken care of early enough to start saving up for Julio.

Huddle Up: White continued his late-season resurgence with his best performance of the year. He has 35 catches for 411 yards and a score over his last 4 games, after netting only 20 receptions, 209 yards and one TD over the season's first 12 weeks.
Posted: 12/12/2013 6:31pm ET
Huddle Up: White still isn't 100 percent but he shown over the past 2 weeks (18 catches-217 yards) that he's a lot closer than he was over his first 9 games (20-209).
Posted: 12/2/2013 11:00pm ET
Huddle Up: White's 10-catch, 143-yard effort Sunday came far too late for most of his remaining fantasy owners as he only had 20 receptions for 209 yards in his 9 previous games this season. The admission that's still hurting isn't going to inspire much confidence going forward, either. Continue to use White with caution.

Huddle Up: White looked healthy for the first time in a long time, and the results indicate as much. He'll go a long way towards salvaging some fantasy value for both himself and Matt Ryan down the stretch.
Posted: 11/22/2013 12:41am ET
Huddle Up: White caught every pass thrown his way, but the problem was he wasn't a big part of the Falcons' game plan for whatever reason. Meanwhile, fellow wideouts Harry Douglas and rookie Darius Johnson had 19 targets and 15 catches between them. White now has 20 receptions for 209 yards and 1 TD in what's become a total fantasy disaster of a season.

Huddle Up: The shoulder is a new injury for White, but it's not likely to result in any lost time. The overriding concern, though, is White's production -- or lack of it -- as he had only 1 catch for 20 yards in his return last week. Start him at your own risk.
Posted: 11/12/2013 4:10pm ET
Huddle Up: It's been a lost season so far for White, and it sounds like there might be a lesser opportunity for a late-year revival now as well.
Posted: 11/7/2013 11:51pm ET
Huddle Up: White has gotten in back-to-back limited practices this week, and if he plays, he's going to be tough to trust coming in cold after a 3-game absence.
Posted: 11/7/2013 1:08pm ET
Huddle Up: We've seen Roddy at less than 100 percent this season, and it hasn't been pretty; therefore, it will be difficult to throw him back into fantasy lineups sight unseen. That said, it's good to have him back in the mix as we rumble down the fantasy stretch.
Posted: 11/6/2013 5:00pm ET
Huddle Up: Will we finally see the return of Roddy White? Keep an eye on his status the rest of the way.
Posted: 11/4/2013 10:49am ET
Huddle Up: The Falcons have trotted White out at less than full speed before, with disappointing results. Worse, it's extended the time White has been injured--not to mention forced fantasy owners to wrestle with the dilemma of playing White at less than 100 percent and getting subpar stats, or benching him and risk his playing up to his talent level despite the injury. So White sitting out was ultimately the best decision for everyone involved--team, player, and fantasy owner.

Huddle Up: Small steps here for White, who should remain on the fantasy bench even if he gets the OK to play Sunday.
Posted: 11/1/2013 10:20am ET
Huddle Up: The Falcons have had trouble keeping Roddy on the field this year, and just because he's cleared to practice Friday doesn't mean he'll be back to top speed on Sunday. Part of the issue has been White playing through injuries and further aggravating them; expect the Falcons to be more cautious this time around and make certain White is fully healed before returning him to the lineup.
Posted: 10/31/2013 5:19pm ET
Huddle Up: It's been rumored that White may try to get in some practice reps Friday, but for the time being it looks as if the wideout will miss a third straight game.
Posted: 10/30/2013 12:56pm ET
Huddle Up: Once again, you shouldn't count on White this week. Even if he plays, he's liable to disappoint you.
Posted: 10/28/2013 5:50pm ET
Huddle Up: We'll believe Roddy White when we see him on the field. Even if he does finally get the green light, it will be hard to trust him after such a long layoff.
Posted: 10/25/2013 1:53pm ET
Huddle Up: After another week of missed practices, White will miss a 2nd straight game as his fantasy owners despair in what's grown to 2 months of frustration. Look for Harry Douglas to continue to see extra work as he's now the Falcons' No. 1 WR by default.
Posted: 10/24/2013 6:25pm ET
Huddle Up: Barring a sudden reversal of fortune over the next few days, plan on White missing a second straight game.
Posted: 10/18/2013 5:17pm ET
Huddle Up: The combination of his preseason high-ankle sprain and the compounding hamstring issue that cropped up in Week 5 will result in the first missed game for White in his NFL career. With Julio Jones done for the season, that leaves a Falcons' WR corps consisting of Harry Douglas, Drew Davis, Kevin Cone and Brian Robiskie and a big ding in Matt Ryan's fantasy stock.
Posted: 10/18/2013 1:57pm ET
Huddle Up: At this point, with White still not doing anything after the bye week, keep him tethered to the bench until further notice.
Posted: 10/16/2013 6:05pm ET
Huddle Up: He has been dealing with injuries all season, and it might be a longshot for him to play this week. That would further ding Matt Ryan's value.
Posted: 10/16/2013 2:56pm ET
Huddle Up: It doesn't sound like White is going to be able to contribute much in the near future with these injuries. Things aren't looking up for Matt Ryan and that Falcons offense.
Posted: 10/9/2013 11:27am ET
Huddle Up: Whatever White owners are doing to replace White during the bye week, they should plan on using that same plan for the foreseeable future as well. Hopefully White can use the off week to expedite his recovery, but given the Falcons' luck (or lack thereof) thus far this year don't hold your breath.
Posted: 10/8/2013 11:33pm ET
Huddle Up: White has all of 14 catches for 129 yards this season -- a game's worth for the WR in seasons past -- and he definitely could use some time off. In the meantime, though, the Falcons' WR situation has gone from bad to worse, and look for Matt Ryan's already decreased fantasy numbers to keep heading south.
Posted: 10/8/2013 9:22am ET
Huddle Up: So much for White getting healthier. He'll have the bye week to rest and recover, hopefully coming back in Week 7 ready for action.
Posted: 10/8/2013 12:09am ET
Huddle Up: White hit season highs for receptions and yards Monday night, but with those numbers still only at 4-for-45, it tells the whole story on how much the Pro Bowler has been limited by a lingering high-ankle sprain and his accompanying hamstring issue. What White clearly needs more than anything right now is rest, and he'll at least get an extra week of it with the Falcons on bye in Week 6.
Posted: 10/7/2013 8:25pm ET
Huddle Up: No surprise that White is playing -- he has in every game in his 8-plus NFL seasons -- but is this the game that he shows he's recovdered from his preseason high-ankle sprain? That's the burning question after White has recorded only 10 receptions for 84 yards and no TDs in 4 games.
Posted: 10/4/2013 7:05pm ET
Huddle Up: White admitted that he suffered a setback against the Patriots last Sunday and he's looking forward to getting rest during the Falcons' Week 6 bye. Fantasy owners would be wise to leave White on the bench until he gets healthy.
Posted: 10/4/2013 5:58pm ET
Huddle Up: It's been a truly frustrating quarter season for White's fantasy owners as the WR has played but the production just hasn't been there. He's best kept on the bench until he shows he's past this injury -- and it might take some time of the field for White to reach that level.
Posted: 9/27/2013 5:35pm ET
Huddle Up: White is supposed to be getting healthier but expect more of the same from him this week, which means he'll play but not be 100 percent. White is no more than a shaky flex play until his ankle improves. Fantasy owners with a better option should leave White on the bench.
Posted: 9/25/2013 6:00pm ET
Huddle Up: It might be wise to keep him on your bench until he starts to practice regularly.
Posted: 9/23/2013 8:07pm ET
Huddle Up: White has played through his high-ankle sprain, but the results haven't been pretty as he has 7 catches for 56 yards in 3 games. White's fantasy owners are advised to leave him on the bench until he shows he's past this issue.
Posted: 9/9/2013 10:51am ET
Huddle Up: White was limited to just two catches in Atlanta's Week 1 loss to the Saints, and he clearly isn't at full speed. He's trying to play through the injury, but it may be another two to four weeks before he's back to being the Roddy White fantasy owners thought they were drafting.
Posted: 9/6/2013 8:40pm ET
Huddle Up: White is listed as questionable but all reports say he will start against the Saints. Fantasy owners should put White in their lineups with confidence unless some unexpected news breaks late Sunday before kickoff.
Posted: 9/5/2013 2:54pm ET
Huddle Up: White was limited in practice Wednesday, but he's never missed a game in 8 NFL seasons -- you can look it up -- and it doesn't sound like this is the week the streak ends. Additionally, he may play just to make a point to a Twitter troll who got into a dispute with the wideout after Tweeting to the effect that pro football doesn't constitute real work.
Posted: 8/28/2013 6:52pm ET
Huddle Up: White has never missed a game in his career but it's interesting Dimitroff said "hopes" in regards to White's chances to play in the opener. Still, expect White to be on the field when Atlanta takes on the Saints in Week 1.
