Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller said he is happy with the progress he has made in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament but is not sure when he will be able to return. He said he has started to run as part of his rehab. He believes there is a chance he can be ready for the start of the regular season but will know more when training camp begins.

Huddle Up: Doesn't sound as if Miller is overly confident about his availability for the start of the season. He was emerging as a steady fantasy contributor last season prior to his injury, so if he's on the field in training camp he warrants consideration as a low-end fantasy starter.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said TE Heath Miller (knee) is on schedule in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Huddle Up: Miller enjoyed one of his best seasons in 2012, hitting career highs in receiving yards (816) and TD catches (8) before injuring his knee in Week 16. With the Steelers not seriously addressing the position in free agency or the draft, Miller will be counted on again in 2013.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (knee) will require surgery after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament injury in Week 16. Miller possibly suffered a partial posterior cruciate ligament injury as well. 'Unfortunately his season comes to an end,' head coach Mike Tomlin said. 'He has been rock solid for us and we really appreciate his efforts. We understand injuries are a part of the game, but unfortunately it brings his season to a close.'

Huddle Up: A deeply unfortunate ending for Miller, who ranks fourth among all fantasy TEs with 130 points (Huddle Performance scoring). With 3 ligaments involved in the injury, this sounds like something that may affect his status at the start of the 2013 season as well.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller left late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 16 game because of a knee injury and did not return.

Huddle Up: Miller, who had 3 catches for 45 yards before leaving, has been the Steelers' most consistent fantasy player this season. You'll likely have to wait for updates on the injury's severity, but with the Steelers being eliminated from playoff contention Sunday, it very well could've been the TE's final action of the season.
