The San Diego Union-Tribune reports San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said WR Vincent Jackson (knee) suffered a bruised knee during Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, but he should be able to practice this week.
The Huddle Take: This shouldn't be an issue for one of the best Fantasy receivers so far this season, but we'll keep an eye on this all week. Jackson has become a must-start every week.

CBSSports.com reports San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson missed the team's practice Thursday, Aug. 20. It appears unlikely that Jackson will play in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 22, but head coach Norv Turner has not ruled him out. Turner said, "He wants to play. We'll see how he feels."
The Huddle Take: No sense in rushing Jackson back for a fake game; there's still two of them, and Jackson is the Chargers' best downfield threat.

Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports Chargers WR Vincent Jackson suffered a sprained middle finger on his left hand during practice Wednesday, Aug. 19. He said he should be fine in a few days, but he will miss the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 22.
The Huddle Take: This doesn't appear to be anything that should prevent Jackson from opening the season with the Chargers, or—more importantly—negatively impact his fantasy ranking.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers said WR Vincent Jackson has developed over the past few seasons into a go-to receiver for the team. 'It's hard to say he's the most improved player, because he came in with a lot of talent. But he's improved tremendously. He's developed himself into a go-to guy,' Rivers said. Jackson had the team's first 1,000-yard season for a wide receiver last year since 2001.
The Huddle Take: With nearly 1,100 yards receiving and seven TDs, Jackson established himself as a strong Fantasy performer. He's still under a lot of Fantasy radars out there, and could be a great value pick later in the draft. And as defenses pay more attention to Jackson, Chris Chambers' numbers could be strong as well. If San Diego looks to limit LaDainian Tomlinson's carries, the Charger passing game would have the potential for Fantasy greatness.

Brent Schrotenboer, of The San Diego Union-Tribune, reports Chargers WR Vincent Jackson had his request for evidence to be suppressed denied by a San Diego Superior Court judge Thursday, June 11. Jackson's attorney, Cole Casey, plans to appeal the ruling. Casey said he hopes this ends up in the federal court, because they believe Jackson's Fourth Amendment rights were violated through an unreasonable search and seizure. Casey has argued Jackson was forced to have blood drawn against his will after being arrested Jan. 6 on suspicion of drunken driving.
The Huddle Take: Regardless of whether or not Jackson's legal wrangling works, the league could still hand down its own punishment. In other words, despite the ongoing appeals, Jackson isn't quite out of the woods just yet.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports Chargers WR Vincent Jackson has asked the court to suppress evidence obtained during his Jan. 6 arrest on suspicion of drunken driving. Jackson's attorney said Jackson was forced to have blood drawn against his will after repeatedly requesting a breath test. His blood-alcohol content measured 0.17 percent, according to court records. If the motion carries, the blood test results would be suppressed. He pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor DUI charges, and his next court date is scheduled for June.
The Huddle Take: It won't take a conviction for Jackson to pop up on Roger Goodell's radar, but if the charges do stick the Chargers may need to plan for a game or two without Vincent in the lineup.

The North County Times reports San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson's arrest on suspicion of drunken driving is still in process. Jackson submitted to a blood test and the results are pending. The case has not been turned over to prosecutors to file any charges because the police report is not yet complete. Jackson, in a statement, said he does not think any charges will be filed against him. This incident will not affect Jackson's chances of playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chargers said they are monitoring his case.
The Huddle Take: Jackson has been a tremendous force for San Diego's passing game in 2008 and figures to only get better as the Chargers continue their playoff run. With his size and athletic ability increasing, Jackson could be worthy of a No. 2 wideout role for fantasy teams in 2009 as long as his off the field situations don't affect his playing status.

Continuing an ongoing storyline, ESPNews reports San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson was already on probation for a previous arrest of driving under the influence prior to his arrest Tuesday, Jan. 6. As reported, Jackson was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and released after being taken to the San Diego County sheriff's department detention facility after failing a field sobriety test.
The Huddle Take: All indications at the moment would point to this not affecting his playing this week. Beyond that it very well could, depending on what the league does. However, due to the lack of information on the 'first' DUI, it is unclear what exactly will be done. Stay tuned for updates.

The North County Times, reports San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson (concussion) participated in practice Friday, Dec. 19. He is listed as probable for the team's Week 16 game and will play.
The Huddle Take: This is great news for the Chargers who will need Jackson to become a more dominant figure in Week 16 as San Diego battles for their playoff lives. He should be considered as a No. 2 receiver for fantasy teams in Week 16 since he will likely get more opportunities with diminished roles for other Charger receivers.

The North County Times reports San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson (concussion) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 18. He will play in the team's Week 16 game.
The Huddle Take: Jackson continues to be a huge factor this season as he has solidified his role as the go to guy in the Chargers passing game. Expect more of the same in Week 16 as San Diego continues to battle for a playoff spot. Fantasy owners should view Jackson as a solid No. 2 receiver.
