The New York Jets have signed S Kerry Rhodes to a 5-year contract extension worth $33.5 million with $20 million in guaranteed money. Rhodes was scheduled to be a free agent after the 2008 season.
The Huddle Take: The Jets have been very active in the offseason and have solidified their secondary for the near future with the signing of Rhodes. Expect the Jets to have a solid defensive unit and one that could surprise fantasy owners with some consistent point totals during the upcoming 2008 season.
