Free-agent QB Vince Young (Eagles) has no interest in joining the Canadian Football League (CFL), according to a source. The Oakland Raiders had worked him out recently, but after drafting QB Tyler Wilson, they are no longer interested in Young.
Huddle Up: When the QB-starved Raiders pass on you, you know you've definitely hit hard times, and Young, the former No. 3 overall draft pick and 2006 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, will keep looking for a NFL home after being released by the Bills late last preseason.

Free-agent QB Vince Young (Eagles) will work out a Texas' pro day. Young is back at Texas finishing his degree.
Huddle Up: Wow, how times have changed. Seven years ago, Young was a draft darling and the No. 3 overall pick. Three teams and last year's late training-camp release by the Bills later, Young is looking for any NFL opportunity he can find. It's a longshot to be sure, but with the read-option offense making some in-roads around the league, don't count VY out just yet.

Free-agent QB Vince Young reached out to Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald after their 58-0 loss Sunday, Dec. 9, via Twitter. Young tweeted "You know I can help. Tell coach."
Huddle Up: Telling coach might not do much, as the Cardinals could be looking for a new head coach sooner rather than later. But given the inability of any Arizona quarterback to locate Fitzgerald, Young might actually be an upgrade.

Buffalo Bills QB Vince Young said via Twitter that he has been released by the team.
Huddle Up: You could see this one coming as the Bills worked on a deal to acquire Tarvaris Jackson from the Seahawks. Young's name will be on the short list when the first quarterback goes down this season, but for now he's off the fantasy radar.

Buffalo Bills QB Vince Young is still not completely comfortable with the team's offense. Young said he is still not relaxed and hopes more reps in practice and games will help.
Huddle Up: Young is battling Tyler Thigpen for Buffalo's No. 2 job behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. All 3 QBs are expected to get roughly 20 snaps in the Bills' exhibition contest Friday against the Vikings. Suffice it say that Young has fallen quite a way since his first few seasons with the Titans and is trying to recapture the magic playing with his third team in three seasons.

Buffalo Bills QB Tyler Thigpen worked as the No. 2 quarterback in practice Tuesday, June 19, at minicamp, while QB Vince Young worked as the No. 3. Earlier reports have head coach Chan Gailey leaning toward using WR Brad Smith as the third QB, with the loser of the Thigpen-Young battle failing to earn a roster spot.
Huddle Up: The Philadelphia Eagles chose to go with Mike Kafka over VY as Michael Vick's backup. The Bills will probably go with Thigpen over VY too, since Chan Gailey has a history with Thigpen. Buffalo is only locked into paying Young's $350,000 signing bonus (his $1.25m salary isn't guaranteed) so he might be nearing the end of the road.
