Tom Kowalski, of Mlive.com, reports Detroit Lions LB Ernie Sims left the team's Week 2 game with a shoulder injury. Head coach Jim Schwartz said Sims is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam.
The Huddle Take: The Lions can ill afford to lose defenders, particularly key cogs of the defense like Sims. If he's to be out for any length of time, you can color the offensive forecast for upcoming Detroit foes an even brighter shade of green.
