The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle went 16-for-24 for 177 yards and two touchdowns in the team's Week 1 game.
The Huddle Take: Croyle came in to start for the Chiefs in a difficult situation facing a very aggressive Baltimore defense. With Matt Cassel out of action Croyle kept the Kansas City offense moving and just missed out on getting a victory in what was a very tight contest. Cassel will likely return to action in Week 2 but make sure to follow up on his status later next week.

CBSSports.com reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle will start the team's final preseason game Thursday, Sept. 3. Head coach Todd Haley said Croyle's performance will determine how much he will play.
The Huddle Take: The Chiefs don't have many other options, with both Matt Cassel and Tyler Thigpen nursing injuries.
