Buffalo Bills WR Brad Smith (chest) and DE Mario Williams (wrist) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Huddle Up: Used primarily as the Bills' Wildcat QB, Smith has done a little bit of everything so far this season, rushing 7 times for 65 yards, catching 4 passes for 66 yards and a TD and a attempting 1 pass. However, he has 2 turnovers among his limited touches with a fumble and his lone pass getting picked off Sunday against the Cardinals.

Buffalo Bills WR Brad Smith has worked exclusively at quarterback since the start of offseason workouts. "From every meeting I've had he's been in all my meetings," said quarterbacks coach David Lee. "He's a quarterback who happens to be a great special teams player and he plays a lot of receiver also, which is where he was used last year. But he still has a role at quarterback in this offense."
Huddle Up: Better to know the QB portion of the offense and try to play wide receiver than vice versa. Smith isn't a threat to Ryan Fitzpatrick's gig, but the extra work at QB suggests there may be a wildcat-type package in the Bills' immediate future.
