The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens WR Demetrius Williams could be inactive for games after the team signed WR David Tyree.
The Huddle Take: Williams wasn't really a fantasy option at this point anyway, and the signing of Tyree removes any future consideration barring an injury. If he signs somewhere else, give him a look, but for now, don't waste your time.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens WR Demetrius Williams is currently the No. 4 wide receiver on the depth chart. WRs Derrick Mason, Mark Clayton and Kelley Washington are currently ahead of him.
The Huddle Take: Williams has had too many opportunities to claim a top spot on this offense and he's come up short. His drops are ultimately the cause of it, but he's sure got skills when he's got the ball. It wouldn't be surprising to see him wind up with another team before long via trade or something, as the direction he's going with the Ravens isn't good. Don't expect much fantasy production this year.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens WR Demetrius Williams appears to have added five or 10 pounds of muscle during the offseason.
The Huddle Take: Williams and Mark Clayton almost by default inherit the one and two spots on the Raven's receiving corps, and the added muscle can't hurt Williams. He's had a lot of opportunity but has been plagued by injuries and drops early in his career. While Baltimore won't be reminding anyone of New England any time soon, there should be some value with the top two guys late in drafts, so watch his performances as the preseason begins.

ESPN.com reports Baltimore Ravens WR Demetrius Williams likely will be one of the starting wide receivers entering training camp after the retirement of WR Derrick Mason.
The Huddle Take: If indeed Mason does retire, Williams does stand to benefit. He's shown flashes of potential, but also couldn't do much when he was being targeted three times more than any other receiver on the team in every game, only to not make the grabs. Could he have improved, sure, but don't get too excited thinking he'll be the next breakout wide receiver, there is just too much going against him here, including playing in Baltimore.

Mike Preston, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Ravens WR Demetrius Williams has looked good during offseason practices. During the team's passing camp Wednesday, May 27, Williams caught several passes, including a one-hander in the back of the end zone. He also caught a touchdown pass across the middle.
The Huddle Take: It's unlikely Williams is pushing either Derrick Mason or Mark Clayton for a starting gig, but he's solidifying himself as the No. 3. However, the Ravens are still primarily a rushing offense so his fantasy upside is limited.

BaltimoreRavens.com reports restricted free-agent WR Demetrius Williams (Ravens) signed his one-year tender offer from the Baltimore Ravens. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Huddle Take: No offense to Williams, but this signing isn't likely to be enough for the Ravens to cross "wide receiver" off their draft-day needs list.
