Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker said he expects to be a part of the passing game this season because he will be given more of an opportunity to catch passes than he received when he was with the San Francisco 49ers. Walker said he understands he has to become a more reliable target since he dropped nine passes last season. He said he would like to catch at least 70 passes in 2013.
Huddle Up: Walker, a sixth-round pick in 2006, had the bad timing to join the Niners the same year as fellow TE Vernon Davis, the sixth-overall pick in that same draft. Renowned more for his blocking, Walker hit a career high with 29 catches for 331 yards in 2010, but now is an undisputed No. 1 TE for the first time in his 8 NFL seasons.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with unrestricted free-
agent TE Delanie Walker (49ers) on a four-year deal. Financial terms
were not immediately disclosed.
Huddle Up: With Jared Cook on the open market, the Titans needed a TE, and they
quickly latched on to Walker, who's never had more than 29 catches
in a season but spent his entire San Fran career playing in the
shadow of TE Vernon Davis.

San Francisco 49ers impending free-agent TE Delanie Walker is someone the Chicago Bears could target in free agency. The Bears would like to upgrade the tight end position and could also look to add one in the NFL Draft.
Huddle Up: The Bears will be running a West Coast offense, which traditionally features a pass-catching tight end; that's a position that has been largely ignored on the Chicago roster, at least since they traded away Greg Olsen.
