Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught three passes for 30 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen set season lows in receptions and receiving yards this week but should be more involved in the passing game next week. He should be considered at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/15/2017 5:08pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen has been one of the better receivers in the NFL this season and should be considered at least a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 4:30pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Thielen has posted at least 100 yards in three of his last five games and has become the team's top option in the passing game. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/13/2017 2:18pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) was able to work on a limited basis in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Thielen has three 100-yard games over his past five outings and he has scored four times in the past six contests. He has emerged as a dependable flex option in standard fantasy play, and as an excellent WR2 in PPR formats. He has four or more grabs in all 13 games this season.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 2:19pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted a game-high 13 times.

Huddle Up: Thielen and Case Keenum have jelled nicely and the wideout has emerged as a legitimate must-start fantasy option on a weekly basis. In fact, he is a solid WR2 in all PPR formats and a nice WR3 or flex play in most standard leagues. The Vikings host the Bengals in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 1:24pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught four passes for 51 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Thielen had a bit of a disappointing performance since he had at least 89 yards in each of the previous four games, but he did catch four of his five targets. He will continue to be a focal point in the passing game and should be a starting option against most opponents.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 4:51pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught eight passes for 89 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Thielen is the first Vikings receiver since 2009 to record at least 1,000 yards and will continue to be one of the top targets for the team moving forward. He should be considered a No. 2 receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 3:42pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Thielen has totaled 14 receptions for 289 yards and two scores over the past two weekends, and he has scored in three consecutive outings. He'll look to keep it going in Week 12 against the Lions on Thanksgiving.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 8:03pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen is second in the NFL in receiving yards (627) and fourth in targets (75) through the first eight weeks of the 2017 season.

Huddle Up: It sure may not seem like it, as Thielen has just one touchdown on the campaign -- and that only came overseas last week -- which is holding him back below other receivers in terms of fantasy points accumulated. Nonetheless, owners have to be pleased with their pick of Thielen, who has completely exceeded expectations when he was drafted as a WR3. Just keep plugging him in there and hopefully he's able to pad his touchdown total in the second half.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 10:04am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 98 yards and one touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Thielen was targeted at least 10 times for the third straight game and posted his first touchdown on the season this week. He has been a solid receiver for the Vikings this season and should be a No. 3 fantasy receiver against most opponents.

  • Posted: 10/27/2017 8:44pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen ranks fourth in the NFL with 529 receiving yards through Week 7, and his nine catches of 20-plus yards rank second in the league.

Huddle Up: He has seen 25 targets over the past two weeks, and even if Stefon Diggs returns, Thielen's penchant for big plays and a matchup with the Cleveland Browns make him a borderline WR2 in Week 8.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 2:06pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 41 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Thielen has been targeted 25 times over the last two weeks and has served as the No. 1 receiver with Stefon Diggs sidelined. He still has not caught a touchdown pass this season but can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all leagues next week.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 4:20pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen racked up nine receptions for 97 yards on 13 targets in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Thielen had an impressive game all around with Stefon Diggs inactive and Michael Floyd checking out early due to injury. He is more attractive in PPR leagues, but if Diggs remains sidelined Thielen isn't a bad start across the board heading into Week 7 against the Ravens.

  • Posted: 10/9/2017 11:06pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen finished with five catches on eight targets for 34 yards Monday, Oct. 9, versus the Chicago Bears. He also had one rush for 11 yards.

Huddle Up: In terms of receptions, Thielen has been as steady as they get, having registered five catches in his last four games since his monster Week 1 effort. Unfortunately, though, he hasn't found the end zone yet, which has to be frustrating for his owners given that he's sixth in the NFL in receiving yards. Thielen should find pay dirt sooner than later, though, as he continues to be a focal point in the passing game based on targets. He's been targeted eight or more times in four of five games.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 3:09pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen racked up five receptions for 59 yards on a game-high eight targets in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Thielen has posted at least five receptions in each of his four games, which is the good news for PPR fantasy owners. The bad news, he is still looking for his first touchdown of the 2017 season. The Vikings travel to meet the Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/27/2017 7:52am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen is second in the league with 299 receiving yards through three games.

Huddle Up: He has done this with Case Keenum under center for two of those games with Sam Bradford (knee) on the mend. Thielen had a 69-967-5 breakout last season, and he's poised to surpass it. He faces the Detroit Lions in Week 4, and they're a midrange defense against the position. Thielen is a low-end WR2 for now.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 2:04pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 98 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Thielen has caught at least five passes in each of the first three games and is averaging almost 100 yards per game. He will continue to be a big factor in the team's passing game and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 2:48pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 44 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Thielen's value took a hit with Case Keenum starting this week but still had a decent outing for owners in point-per-reception leagues. Thielen can be considered at least a flex option for owners next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  • Posted: 9/11/2017 9:34pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen was very productive in the team's season opener Monday, Sept. 11, opposite the New Orleans Saints, as he recorded nine catches on a team-high 10 targets for 157 yards.

Huddle Up: It was the fourth-career 100-plus-yard effort for Thielen, who figures to notch more such efforts in the weeks and months ahead. Along with Stefon Diggs, the fourth-year wideout basically did as he pleased against a porous Saints defense. Bradford heavily relied on both men last year and it looks like that won't change at all in 2017. As a result, Thielen just may develop into a legitimate WR2 by year's end.

  • Posted: 8/27/2017 8:07pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen finished with five catches for 50 yards against the San Francisco 49ers in the preseason Sunday, Aug. 27.

Huddle Up: Thielen developed a nice chemistry with Sam Bradford last year, so it's no surprise that he was a popular target. He is a high-end WR4 with WR3 potential against the right matchups.

  • Posted: 7/28/2017 7:21pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (undisclosed) practiced Friday, July 28, after leaving Thursday's practice with an undisclosed injury.

Huddle Up: Thielen emerged as one of Sam Braford's favorite targets last year and nearly reached 1,000 yards. Consider him a WR4 candidate with flex potential in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 5/29/2017 8:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen said he is dedicated in proving his breakout performance this past season wasn't a fluke. 'I'm waiting until I'm done playing to reflect,' Thielen said at the club's organized team activities last week. 'I've got too much to work on, too many big goals, to reflect on anything. I'm just going to come out here every day and try to get better and bring the same mindset I've brought since I got to the league.'

Huddle Up: Thielen had only 20 catches combined in his first two seasons prior to recording 69 receptions for 967 yards and five touchdowns during the 2016 campaign, so this is certainly encouraging to hear that he won't be content with that. He's a fine bet to keep it going through next year as one of Sam Bradford's most trusted targets, especially if Stefon Diggs is hampered by injury issues again.

  • Posted: 3/23/2017 8:43am ET

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen signed a four-year deal worth $19.246 million with $6.746 million in the first year.

Huddle Up: Thielen had a 69-967-5 year in 2016 as he emerged onto the fantasy radar. There will be some questions regarding whether he can build on it, but he's in the WR4 mix in fantasy.

  • Posted: 3/15/2017 12:46pm ET

Minnesota Vikings restricted free-agent WR Adam Thielen agreed to a three-year deal with the Vikings Wednesday, March 15, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Huddle Up: Thielen is coming off a career year in 2016 and should continue to have a significant role in the Vikings' passing game in 2017. Thielen can be considered a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 3/8/2017 3:47pm ET

Minnesota Vikings restricted free-agent WR Adam Thielen has received the second-round tender offer.

Huddle Up: Thielen had a breakout season in 2016 and finished with 967 yards and five touchdowns. He should be a starter for the Vikings next season and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 3/4/2017 11:20am ET

Minnesota Vikings restricted free-agent WR Adam Thielen likely will receive the second-round tender offer this offseason, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Thielen likely will be back with the Vikings next season, but a team could show some interest in him if they are willing to give up a pick. He finished the 2016 season with 967 yards and five touchdowns and likely will have a big role in the passing game in 2017. Thielen can be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 2/18/2017 6:33pm ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent WR Adam Thielen said there is 'something special' about playing for one franchise, and he hopes to stay with Minnesota if he receives an offer in his 'ballpark.'

Huddle Up: Thielen developed great chemistry with Sam Bradford and emerged as Minnesota's steadiest receiver. If he is a Viking in 2017, he should be a quality WR3.

  • Posted: 1/7/2017 8:49pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen led all receivers by catching 70.4 percent of his targets that traveled 15 yards or more down the field this season.

Huddle Up: Thielen developed great chemistry with Sam Bradford, just missing out on a 1,000-yard season. He enters 2017 as a viable WR3 option.

  • Posted: 12/26/2016 5:14pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen only needs 40 yards in Week 17 to reach the 1,000-yard milestone on the season.

Huddle Up: Thielen's previous career high in yards was 144 last year. He has turned into a solid weapon for the Vikings, especially with Adrian Peterson sitting most of the year. He's in the running for Minnesota's No. 2 wide receiver position next season behind Stefon Diggs.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 3:18pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen set career highs with 12 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 16 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Although Thielen has been an important part of the offense since early October, this is a stunning performance from a player who was shut out last week after taking a brutal hit early in the second half. The former undrafted free agent was getting open at will in this contest and he needs only 40 yards at home against the Chicago Bears in Week 17 to go over 1,000. He's obviously a must-start.

  • Posted: 12/20/2016 10:46am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (neck) told reporters he feels 'fine' and anticipates playing on Christmas Eve in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Thielen had been on quite a roll in terms of churning out solid PPR performances before getting blanked in Week 15 after leaving early in the third quarter after getting drilled by Indianapolis Colts cornerback Darius Butler. Assuming no setbacks between now and Saturday, Thielen makes for a reasonable low-end WR3/flex play against the Packers' vulnerable secondary.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 6:23pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen did not have any receptions and he was targeted just once in the Week 15 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Thielen had a 100-yard game last week, and 187 receiving yards over the past two outings, so this was a giant disappointment for anyone using him as a WR3 or WR4, especially in the fantasy playoffs.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 12:19pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (neck) suffered a neck injury in Week 15 and will not return.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to look for an update in Thielen's status after the game to see if he will miss more time. Thielen has been a solid member of the passing game over the last few weeks and would be at least a flex option if he plays in Week 16.
