  • Posted: 2/24/2019 7:37pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen finished the 2018 season with 113 catches and 1,373 yards, becoming just the third undrafted player with at least 100 receptions and 1,300 yards in a season.

Huddle Up: Although Thielen cooled after an incredible start to the year, he was still able to deliver a career year and establish himself as a WR1.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 3:02pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen managed five receptions for 80 yards on six targets in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Thielen posted eight 100-yard games over the first eight outings, but he has just one triple-digit yardage game over the past seven contests and he has a season-high three straight without a score. He picked a tough time for his worst stretch of the season for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 6:55pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted two grabs for a season-low 19 yards in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: Thielen opened the season with eight straight 100-yard games, but he has just one over the past six outings. He has also been held out of the end zone in back-to-back outings for the first time this season. Marginal performances are coming at an inopportune time for Thielen's fantasy owners. He'll look to rebound in Week 16 in Detroit.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 1:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen has cooled off a bit since his historic start to the season but has still posted at least 65 yards in three of the last four games. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 12:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) put in a full practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Thielen will be good to go in his quest to rebound from last week's poor outing. He's an automatic start anyway, but he'll have higher upside if Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/12/2018 2:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) was able to take part in a full practice session Friday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Thielen, who left Monday's game in Seattle, but was able to return, is likely to be ready for Week 15. However, check back Friday for his official injury designation before finalizing your fantasy lineup.

  • Posted: 12/10/2018 8:17pm ET

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) returned to the Week 14 game against the Seattle Seahawks and he finished with five grabs for 70 yards on seven targets.

Huddle Up: Most of his production came in garbage time late in the game, but fantasy owners don't care where it comes from. A near disastrous night ended up not being as bad with his late stats and the fact he returned from injury. He'll look to keep up the good work against the Miami Dolphins in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/10/2018 7:25pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) left the Week 14 game against the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth quarter due to an ankle injury. He had one catch for eight yards on eight targets before departing.

Huddle Up: Thielen was able to record his 100th reception of the season, but that's about all that went right for Thielen and his fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 7:10pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen registered five catches for 28 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Week 13 against the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Thielen was held mostly in check, and the Patriots have a penchant of taking out the most dangerous offensive weapon while forcing others to step up and beat them. Fantasy owners weren't completely blanked as he posted the team's only score. Next up is a trip to Seattle in Week 14 on Monday night.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 1:39pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 30 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 13 game with the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Thielen has tailed off slightly after his run of triple-digit yardage games, but he obviously remains a must-start fantasy option as long as he is healthy. Even when his numbers are rather mediocre he still has a high volume of catches and he sniffs out the end zone, too.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 1:47pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Thielen will take the field if he avoids falling victim to the dreaded setback. He's been one of the safest weekly starts in fantasy football this year, so keep him in that lineup.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 4:31pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Huddle Up: Thielen should be able to play in Week 13 as long as he does not suffer a setback during practice. He has posted at least 100 yards in nine games this season and should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 8:56pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen registered eight receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers. He has nine 100-yard games setting a new franchise record for a single season.

Huddle Up: Thielen still has plenty of time to put that record out of reach, as Minnesota has five more games remaining. Next up is a trip to New England in Week 13.

  • Posted: 11/23/2018 9:35am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf, back) was on the field for the start of practice Friday, Nov. 23, after being limited earlier in the week.

Huddle Up: Thielen has caught only 11 of 19 targets for 88 yards and a TD in two games since his 100-yard streak ended in Week 9, but he remains a no-doubt WR1 start Sunday against the Packers.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 11:08am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 22.

Huddle Up: Thielen should be ready to play in Week 12 and is likely receiving some time off this week. He has been one of the top receivers in the NFL this season and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/21/2018 3:07pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Huddle Up: Thielen should been able to play in Week 12 even if he misses some practice time this week. He saw his six-game touchdown streak end last week but is still one of the better receivers in the NFL. He should be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 8:53pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught seven of his 12 targets for 66 yards in a 25-20 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 11.

Huddle Up: After starting the season with eight straight 100-yard efforts, Thielen has finally slowed down a bit. That being said, he's still a weekly WR1 as the top target in a potent passing attack.

  • Posted: 11/15/2018 2:47pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen does not appear to be in danger of missing the Week 11, but owners will know more about his status later in the week. He will be facing a tough Chicago Bears defense this week but can still be a No. 2 fantasy receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 11/14/2018 2:25pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Thielen is coming off of what was easily his worst outing of the year in Week 10, but he's still riding a six-game touchdown streak and has scored in seven of nine games this year. Thielen can be mentioned among the matchup-proof wide receivers.

  • Posted: 11/5/2018 11:06am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) dealt with a calf injury all week and was heating it on the sideline between series during the team's win against the Detroit Lions, according to FOX Sports sideline reporter Jen Hale.

Huddle Up: This would explain his meager production against the Lions, although he still did his fantasy owners proud by finding the end zone. He'll get the bye in Week 10 to rest up before he likely return to elite WR1 form in Week 11 versus the Chicago Bears.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 2:31pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen registered four receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, ending his NFL record-tying streak of eight-straight games with 100 or more yards.

Huddle Up: Thielen was still able to get into the end zone, and fantasy owners can't be too mad that the streak is over. He has been a fantasy beast all season. The Vikings are off in Week 10 for their bye.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 8:38pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen finished with seven catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 30-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, setting the record for the most consecutive 100-yard receiving games to start a season.

Huddle Up: Thielen is having a season for the ages, and Minnesota's potent passing attack could allow him to continue this torrid pace.

  • Posted: 10/16/2018 7:28pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen has amassed 58 catches on 71 targets for 712 yards through six games. At his current pace, he will finish with 155 receptions, 189 targets and 1,899 receiving yards. Thielen is on track to finish 12 catches ahead of Marvin Harrison's record-setting reception mark of 143 in 2002. Only 11 receivers have ever recorded at least 189 targets in a season, while Calvin Johnson (1,964) is the only receiver to ever post more than 1,900 receiving yards in a season.

Huddle Up: Simply put, Thielen is simply performing at a level many fantasy owners have never seen. While there is no reason to expect him to fall from the WR1 ranks anytime soon, it may behoove owners to see what they can get for him in a trade, as a record-setting pace is called that because it's hard to maintain. Among other factors to consider, the eventual return of Dalvin Cook should steal a few of his looks. Regardless, Thielen has cemented himself as a fantasy WR1 at the very least in 2018.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 5:02am ET

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen had his sixth straight 100-yard game Sunday, Oct. 14, and only four players in NFL history have a longer single-season streak.

Huddle Up: He'll have another tasty matchup against the New York Jets in Week 7. Thielen is a must-start WR1 right now.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 2:59pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught 11 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Thielen has posted at least 100 yards in every game this season and has four touchdowns in those games. He is the main option in the passing game for the Vikings and should be a No. 1 wide receiver in all fantasy leagues no matter the opponent.

  • Posted: 10/9/2018 11:52am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen is the first player since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to begin a season with five games of 100 or more receiving yards.

Huddle Up: Thielen is playing out of his mind and Kirk Cousins won't stop throwing to him. Over five weeks he is averaging 13.2 targets and 117.8 yards per game. He's a mainstay in starting lineups as long as he's healthy.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 9:07pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught seven of his 10 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Thielen is only the third player in modern NFL history to go over 100 yards receiving in each of his team's first five games. Positive touchdown regression has also been in his favor as well, as his three scores through five games this year is one shy of his total from last season. He's seen 10 targets in every game as well. There is a good chance Thielen is going to slow down as soon as the Vikings find some semblance of a running game, but there's no question he's cemented his place as a fantasy WR1.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 8:08pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught eight passes on 12 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown in a 38-31 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Thursday, Sept. 27, becoming the third player since the merger to open a season with four straight 100-yard receiving games.

Huddle Up: Thielen is building off his breakout 2017 season, and he needs to be treated as a WR1 in all formats at this point.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 1:47pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen made a career-high 14 receptions for 105 yards on 19 targets in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: Thielen continues to produce at a high level for fantasy owners, posting his third straight 100-yard game. PPR owners love him, too, as he already has 32 receptions with 338 yards and a TD. He'll try and extend his 100-yard streak on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 4:55pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted 12 receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Thielen has jelled very nicely with Kirk Cousins, posting back-to-back 100-yard games to start the season while being targeted 25 times with 18 grabs already. Needless to say, he has emerged as a bona fide WR1 in PPR formats, and a solid WR2 in most other leagues. The Vikings host the skidding Bills in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 2:57pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for a game-best 102 yards with 12 targets in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Thielen, who is likely to spend a lot of time in the slot this season, did not show any ill effects of the leg injury which bothered him late in the preseason. He is a solid fantasy receiver, particularly in PPR formats. The Vikings travel to meet the Packers in Week 2.

  • Posted: 8/28/2018 3:02pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (leg) injured his left leg during practice Tuesday, Aug. 28, but said he's good after leaving the field under his own power, according to a source.

Huddle Up: We're getting close to crunch time. Players will need to be extra careful over the next couple weeks. Thielen, as long as he avoids any setbacks, remains in low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 territory.
