Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back, calf) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Thielen is coming off of what was easily his worst outing of the year in Week 10, but he's still riding a six-game touchdown streak and has scored in seven of nine games this year. Thielen can be mentioned among the matchup-proof wide receivers.

  • Posted: 11/5/2018 11:06am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) dealt with a calf injury all week and was heating it on the sideline between series during the team's win against the Detroit Lions, according to FOX Sports sideline reporter Jen Hale.

Huddle Up: This would explain his meager production against the Lions, although he still did his fantasy owners proud by finding the end zone. He'll get the bye in Week 10 to rest up before he likely return to elite WR1 form in Week 11 versus the Chicago Bears.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 2:31pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen registered four receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, ending his NFL record-tying streak of eight-straight games with 100 or more yards.

Huddle Up: Thielen was still able to get into the end zone, and fantasy owners can't be too mad that the streak is over. He has been a fantasy beast all season. The Vikings are off in Week 10 for their bye.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 8:38pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen finished with seven catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 30-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, setting the record for the most consecutive 100-yard receiving games to start a season.

Huddle Up: Thielen is having a season for the ages, and Minnesota's potent passing attack could allow him to continue this torrid pace.

  • Posted: 10/16/2018 7:28pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen has amassed 58 catches on 71 targets for 712 yards through six games. At his current pace, he will finish with 155 receptions, 189 targets and 1,899 receiving yards. Thielen is on track to finish 12 catches ahead of Marvin Harrison's record-setting reception mark of 143 in 2002. Only 11 receivers have ever recorded at least 189 targets in a season, while Calvin Johnson (1,964) is the only receiver to ever post more than 1,900 receiving yards in a season.

Huddle Up: Simply put, Thielen is simply performing at a level many fantasy owners have never seen. While there is no reason to expect him to fall from the WR1 ranks anytime soon, it may behoove owners to see what they can get for him in a trade, as a record-setting pace is called that because it's hard to maintain. Among other factors to consider, the eventual return of Dalvin Cook should steal a few of his looks. Regardless, Thielen has cemented himself as a fantasy WR1 at the very least in 2018.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 5:02am ET

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen had his sixth straight 100-yard game Sunday, Oct. 14, and only four players in NFL history have a longer single-season streak.

Huddle Up: He'll have another tasty matchup against the New York Jets in Week 7. Thielen is a must-start WR1 right now.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 2:59pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught 11 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Thielen has posted at least 100 yards in every game this season and has four touchdowns in those games. He is the main option in the passing game for the Vikings and should be a No. 1 wide receiver in all fantasy leagues no matter the opponent.

  • Posted: 10/9/2018 11:52am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen is the first player since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to begin a season with five games of 100 or more receiving yards.

Huddle Up: Thielen is playing out of his mind and Kirk Cousins won't stop throwing to him. Over five weeks he is averaging 13.2 targets and 117.8 yards per game. He's a mainstay in starting lineups as long as he's healthy.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 9:07pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught seven of his 10 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Thielen is only the third player in modern NFL history to go over 100 yards receiving in each of his team's first five games. Positive touchdown regression has also been in his favor as well, as his three scores through five games this year is one shy of his total from last season. He's seen 10 targets in every game as well. There is a good chance Thielen is going to slow down as soon as the Vikings find some semblance of a running game, but there's no question he's cemented his place as a fantasy WR1.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 8:08pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught eight passes on 12 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown in a 38-31 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Thursday, Sept. 27, becoming the third player since the merger to open a season with four straight 100-yard receiving games.

Huddle Up: Thielen is building off his breakout 2017 season, and he needs to be treated as a WR1 in all formats at this point.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 1:47pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen made a career-high 14 receptions for 105 yards on 19 targets in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: Thielen continues to produce at a high level for fantasy owners, posting his third straight 100-yard game. PPR owners love him, too, as he already has 32 receptions with 338 yards and a TD. He'll try and extend his 100-yard streak on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 4:55pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted 12 receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Thielen has jelled very nicely with Kirk Cousins, posting back-to-back 100-yard games to start the season while being targeted 25 times with 18 grabs already. Needless to say, he has emerged as a bona fide WR1 in PPR formats, and a solid WR2 in most other leagues. The Vikings host the skidding Bills in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 2:57pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for a game-best 102 yards with 12 targets in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Thielen, who is likely to spend a lot of time in the slot this season, did not show any ill effects of the leg injury which bothered him late in the preseason. He is a solid fantasy receiver, particularly in PPR formats. The Vikings travel to meet the Packers in Week 2.

  • Posted: 8/28/2018 3:02pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (leg) injured his left leg during practice Tuesday, Aug. 28, but said he's good after leaving the field under his own power, according to a source.

Huddle Up: We're getting close to crunch time. Players will need to be extra careful over the next couple weeks. Thielen, as long as he avoids any setbacks, remains in low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 territory.

  • Posted: 1/31/2018 10:54pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) indicated that the back fractures he sustained during the Divisional Round win over the New Orleans Saints were not serious, and he is 'pretty much healthy' heading into the offseason.

Huddle Up: Thielen built on a solid 2016 with a 91-1,276-4 line this past season. The lack of TDs (10 in 180 career receptions) are the only thing keeping Thielen as a WR2, though he adds some value in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 7:52pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught three passes on nine targets for 28 yards in a 38-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game.

Huddle Up: His back injury could have played a role in his poor outing, but the Vikings were never really in a rhythm on offense. Overall, it was an excellent season for Thielen, and he should be a high floor WR2 in 2018, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 2:22pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) is officially active for the NFC Championship game.

Huddle Up: Thielen will be able to play despite the back injury and should have a solid role in the passing game. He can be a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy wide receiver in most leagues this week.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 12:43pm ET

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) suffered a couple of slight fractures in his back during the Divisional Round playoff game but plans to play in the NFC Championship game, according to sources.

Huddle Up: Thielen probably will see a normal workload despite the injury and should be one of the main options in the passing game. He can be a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy receiver this week.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 5:52am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) is expected to play in the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, Jan. 21, despite being in plenty of pain due to a lower back ailment, according to multiple sources.

Huddle Up: Thielen took part on a limited basis in two of the team's three practice sessions during the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He should be viewed as a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2 in postseason fantasy games.

  • Posted: 1/19/2018 11:07am ET

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 19, and is listed as questionable for the NFC Championship game.

Huddle Up: Thielen appears to have a good chance to play against the Philadelphia Eagles, but owners will need to check the inactive list to make sure. He is a solid part of the Vikings passing game and would be at least a No. 2 fantasy option if he plays.

  • Posted: 1/19/2018 9:28am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) is taking part in practice Friday, Jan. 19.

Huddle Up: Thielen will be a low-end WR1 or a high-end WR2 against the Philadelphia Eagles in playoff formats.

  • Posted: 1/18/2018 11:43am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Jan. 18, after missing practice Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Huddle Up: Thielen is an integral part of Minnesota's offense and should be able to take the field after being able to practice today. That is as long as he doesn't have any setbacks over the next couple days. Looking ahead to next season, Thielen has a WR1 ceiling again.

  • Posted: 1/17/2018 1:06pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (back) was absent from practice Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Huddle Up: Thielen was recently on the injury report because of a knee injury, so the back ailment is a new development. He has extra motivation to play this week, though, with a berth to the Super Bowl on the line. After a monstrous breakout campaign, Thielen can be considered a WR1.

  • Posted: 1/14/2018 5:52pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen secured six receptions for 74 yards on nine targets in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Huddle Up: Thielen emerged as a dependable fantasy option across the board this season and he was a valuable option in his one, too. He'll continue to be a DFS favorite heading into the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday.

  • Posted: 12/23/2017 8:32pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught two passes on six targets for 24 yards in a 16-0 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: It's been a banner season for Thielen, but he has killed his owners during the fantasy playoffs, managing a combined five catches for 54 yards over the last two games.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 1:54pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught three passes for 30 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen set season lows in receptions and receiving yards this week but should be more involved in the passing game next week. He should be considered at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/15/2017 5:08pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Thielen has been one of the better receivers in the NFL this season and should be considered at least a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 4:30pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Thielen has posted at least 100 yards in three of his last five games and has become the team's top option in the passing game. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/13/2017 2:18pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (knee) was able to work on a limited basis in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Thielen has three 100-yard games over his past five outings and he has scored four times in the past six contests. He has emerged as a dependable flex option in standard fantasy play, and as an excellent WR2 in PPR formats. He has four or more grabs in all 13 games this season.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 2:19pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted a game-high 13 times.

Huddle Up: Thielen and Case Keenum have jelled nicely and the wideout has emerged as a legitimate must-start fantasy option on a weekly basis. In fact, he is a solid WR2 in all PPR formats and a nice WR3 or flex play in most standard leagues. The Vikings host the Bengals in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 1:24pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught four passes for 51 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Thielen had a bit of a disappointing performance since he had at least 89 yards in each of the previous four games, but he did catch four of his five targets. He will continue to be a focal point in the passing game and should be a starting option against most opponents.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 4:51pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught eight passes for 89 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Thielen is the first Vikings receiver since 2009 to record at least 1,000 yards and will continue to be one of the top targets for the team moving forward. He should be considered a No. 2 receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 3:42pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen posted six receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Thielen has totaled 14 receptions for 289 yards and two scores over the past two weekends, and he has scored in three consecutive outings. He'll look to keep it going in Week 12 against the Lions on Thanksgiving.
