Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) returned to practice Monday, Aug. 17, and he finished practice with several acrobatic receptions.

Huddle Up: Stills, who paced the Saints with 931 receiving yards last season, is expected to replace Mike Wallace as the Dolphins' new downfield threat and currently owns a late-round ADP of 130 -- third among Miami wideouts.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) returned to practice Monday, Aug. 17.

Huddle Up: Stills needs to get on the field to carve out a spot in a suddenly crowded Dolphins' receiver rotation, so his return from injury is a positive development for his fantasy value.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) is out of practice Thursday, Aug. 6.

Huddle Up: The Dolphins have been anxious to get their newly acquired deep threat acclimated to the new offense, but Thursday's absence was the former Saint's fourth straight missed practice.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (calf) returned to practice Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Huddle Up: Stills hopes to carve out looks in a crowded Miami receiving corps. At least he's back on the field, which gives him a leg up on rookie DeVante Parker.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills averaged 16.5 yards per catch and had 11 receptions of 40-plus yards in his first two years in the NFL.

Huddle Up: That certainly worked well in the Big Easy, but the Dolphins and their short-pass-oriented attack only had four 40-yard-plus aerial gains all last season -- with only the Chiefs having fewer with three -- so expect Stills' big-play numbers and yardage to head south in South Beach.

The Miami Dolphins on Friday, March 13 obtained WR Kenny Stills from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for LB Dannell Ellerbe and a third-round draft pick, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Curious move in a sense that Stills is a big-play deep threat -- averaging 16.5 yards per reception over his two seasons -- similar to what the Dolphins already have in place in Mike Wallace. Meanwhile, the Saints continue to pare their roster of offensive weapons, having already traded TE Jimmy Graham and released RB Pierre Thomas, but they did add a nice piece in RB C.J. Spiller on Friday.

New Orleans Saints WR Kenny Stills hauled in five passes for a career-high 162 yards in the Week 13 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, including a 69-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Huddle Up: It took a week for Stills to get there, but when Brandin Cooks went down with a season-ending injury this is what we were expecting. As per usual, the Saints are flush with wide receiver talent--though of course having Drew Brees throwing to them makes everyone look a little better.

New Orleans Saints WRs Robert Meachem and Joe Morgan will likely be asked to play more with WR Brandin Cooks (thumb) out for an extended period. WR Kenny Stills is likely to have a much bigger role in the offense, as well.

Huddle Up: Stills will see the biggest fantasy bump. He should be added in all leagues this week with Cooks likely done for the regular season.

New Orleans Saints WR Kenny Stills (quadriceps) was limited in practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Sept. 11.

Huddle Up: Stills sat out the Week 1 loss in Atlanta, and if he's able to play Sunday, he figures to cut into the targets for fellow WRs Marques Colston and Brandin Cooks, who had eight apiece in Week 1.

  • Posted: 9/4/2014 7:14pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Kenny Stills (quadriceps) didn't participate in team drills Thursday, Sept. 4, but he's not ruling out playing in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. However, the decision on whether he'll play ultimately will come down to the trainer's decision.

Huddle Up: Sunday is sounding iffy at best for Stills, and if he's out, that means more targets for fellow WRs Marques Colston and Brandin Cooks.
