Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught three passes for 71 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-14 preseason loss to the Dallas Cowboys Friday, Aug. 19.

Huddle Up: Stills is coming off a disappointing season, but he still has the ability to stretch the field with big plays. He is worth a look as a WR5.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills caught only 48.2 percent of the passes thrown to him by QB Ryan Tannehill in 2015 but many of his targets were deep passes. Head coach Adam Gase has been impressed with Stills during offseason workouts.

Huddle Up: Stills finished with only 27 catches (among 63 targets) for 440 yards and three TDs, and will definitely need to keep impressing this offseason given the stiffer WR competition he faces in second-year WR DeVante Parker and rookie third-round pick Leonte Carroo.

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills is expected to be more involved in head coach Adam Gase's offense after he was fifth on the team with 27 receptions in 2015.

Huddle Up: The passing game should improve under Gase, and Stills should play a bigger role with the departure of Rishard Matthews. That combo alone should move Stills up to fourth or third; however, leapfrogging Jarvis Landry and/or DaVante Parker seems overly optimistic.

Miami Dolphins WR DaVante Parker had just one reception for three yards in the Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and WR Kenny Stills managed just two grabs for eight yards.

Huddle Up: Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews continue to dominate the looks in Miami's passing game. You have to believe the Dolphins have plans for both Parker, their first-round pick, and Stills, whom they traded for, but right now they are both taking unexpected back seats to Matthews.
