Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (undisclosed) said he was less than 100 percent down the stretch of the season, but he didn't reveal the exact nature of his injuries.

Huddle Up: While Ertz may have been banged up, he didn't miss a game on his way to a monster season. He will enter 2019 as one of the premier fantasy options at the tight end position.

  • Posted: 1/13/2019 4:57pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz registered five receptions for 50 yards on eight targets in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Jan. 13.

Huddle Up: Ertz pulled down 116 balls in the regular season, good for second in the NFL, while adding 1,163 yards and eight touchdowns. He'll be one of the top two tight ends off the board in the early round on Draft Day 2019 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/6/2019 5:19pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz caught five of his seven targets for 52 yards in a 16-15 win over the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round Sunday, Jan. 6.

Huddle Up: It wasn't his biggest game of the year by any means, but you will have a tough time finding a steadier fantasy option at the tight end position, especially now that the pool is limited during the postseason.

  • Posted: 1/4/2019 9:43am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz was not a first- or second-team Associated Press All-Pro selection despite setting the single-season NFL record for receptions by a tight end.

Huddle Up: Ertz was beaten out by Travis Kelce and George Kittle in the AP voting, but finished a close second to Kelce in the 2018 fantasy TE PPR ranks and will be a strong candidate to be the first tight end off the board next summer, regardless of league format.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 8:14pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz posted just three catches for 15 yards on four targets in Week 17 against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: Ertz will look to bounce back in the wild-card round against the Chicago Bears. He'll be a very highly coveted tight end option in postseason fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/24/2018 11:50am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz beat former Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten's single-season receptions record in Week 16. Ertz has 113 catches with one game left, besting Witten's 110 catches in 2012.

Huddle Up: On the season, Ertz has tallied 113 catches for 1,1,48 yards and eight touchdowns as the second best fantasy tight end behind Travis Kelce. He has to be one of the first three tight ends drafted next year with added value in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 2:09pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz registered 12 receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns on 16 targets in Week 16 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Ertz had a giant game for owners with most fantasy championships decided in Week 16. He and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are the top fantasy tight ends in football heading into 2019, taking the torch from Rob Gronkowski who held the spot for years.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 12:15pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Ertz has posted only 60 yards in the last two games but has still been targeted at least seven times in five of the last six games. He has been one of the more reliable tight ends for fantasy owners this season and can be a starting option in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 3:36pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Ertz has been pretty quiet over the last two games but has been targeted at least seven times in five of the last six games. He can still be considered a No. 1 tight end in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 12:46pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: Ertz only managed three catches for 22 yards with Nick Foles starting last week. It's hard to bench Ertz with a fantasy championship on the line, but at least lower your expectations.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 8:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz caught three of his seven targets for 22 yards in a 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Ertz has had a couple of rough outings recently, falling below 40 yards in three of his last five games. He's still a TE1, but he is picking a bad time to deliver a few duds for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 7:06pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz managed five receptions for just 38 yards on eight targets in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Huddle Up: Ertz was outperformed by rookie Dallas Goedert, hurting his fantasy owners at a critical juncture of the season. He'll look to rebound against another tough defense, the L.A. Rams, on the road in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/3/2018 9:06pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz racked up nine receptions for 83 yards on 10 targets in the Week 13 game against the Washington Redskins on Monday, Dec. 3.

Huddle Up: Ertz is up to 93 receptions and a career-high 978 yards with six touchdowns on 121 targets through 12 games, as he continues to roll up consistent fantasy production for his owners. He'll look to go over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career in Week 14 at Dallas.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 5:34pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz caught seven of his eight targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in a 25-22 win over the New York Giants in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Ertz bounced back after a terrible performance against the Saints last week, and he should be able to deliver another big line against the Oakland Raiders in Week 13.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 6:56pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz finished with two receptions for just 15 yards in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: It was a disappointing day for the fantasy owners of Ertz, as way more was expected in what appears to be a very favorable matchup in the dome in a potential shootout against a porous pass defense. He'll look to regroup in Week 12 against the Giants.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 10:58pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz posted his fourth career game of at least 13 catches in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys, moving into a tie for second place in NFL history Antonio Brown, Jason Witten, Anquan Boldin and Marvin Harrison behind only Wes Welker (five).

Huddle Up: Ertz seemingly gets open at will and is on par with Travis Kelce as the top fantasy tight ends in the game with Rob Gronkowski struggling to stay healthy. The 28-year-old has four games with at least 10 receptions this season alone and has scored all five of his touchdowns over the last five games. It goes without saying he has become the weekly fantasy matchup advantage owners so often used to get from Gronkowski. Start him with confidence in Week 11 versus the New Orleans Saints.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 8:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz registered 14 catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 16 targets in the Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys for his fourth-career multi-score game, with two of those outings coming against Dallas.

Huddle Up: The Eagles were 3-0 in his previous three games with multiple scores, but they lost on Sunday night. Still, he had a giant game for fantasy owners and will look to keep up the good work in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints in a potential shootout.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 10:21am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz caught four passes for 26 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Ertz has recorded three touchdowns in his last four games and will continue to be a big part of the team's passing game. He should be considered a No. 1 tight end in all leagues against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/26/2018 9:08pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz's 57 catches are the second most in the NFL and 19 more than any other tight end.

Huddle Up: Ertz has caught at least five passes in every game this year, catching at least seven balls in four straight. He is in the conversation for the top fantasy option at his position, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 1:56pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz racked up nine receptions for 138 yards on 11 targets in the Week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Ertz started out a bit slow, failing to find the end zone in his first four games. However, he has three 100-yard games over his past four outings and he has scored twice in the past three contests. Ertz is fantasy elite, and will look to keep it rolling in Week 8 against the Jaguars in London.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 10:15pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz posted seven receptions, 43 yards and a TD during the club's 21-point victory over the New York Giants on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Coming off a four-game stretch in which he caught 36 passes for 389 yards, Ertz was due for a bit of a letdown. Fortunately for fantasy owners he took the edge off a 43-yard outing by scoring just his second TD this year (and added seven grabs for the PPR crowd). Ertz is currently one of the top TEs in football and a weekly start.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 9:15pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz turned 11 targets into 10 receptions for 110 yards and his first touchdown of the season in Week 5 versus the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Ertz beefed up his bottom line as Philadelphia tried valiantly to battle back from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit. The sixth-year pro has at least 10 targets in every game this season and appears to be the only legitimate competition for Travis Kelce at the moment to be considered the top tight end in fantasy football. Ertz should be poised for another high-end TE1 performance in Week 6 when the Eagles visit the New York Giants.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 4:30pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz rolled up 10 receptions for 112 yards on 14 targets in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Ertz didn't find the end zone, but he still had a monster game for fantasy owners, especially those in PPR formats. He has at least five receptions in each of his four outings this season, and 10 or more catches in two of those contests. The Eagles host the Vikings in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 7:36pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz posted five receptions for 73 yards on a team-best 10 targets in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Carson Wentz was back under center in his season debut and he loves his tight ends. Ertz and rookie Dallas Goedert combined for 12 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets, while all of the other players totals just 13 grabs and 109 yards on 20 targets. Ertz remains an obvious TE1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 4 at Tennessee.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 9:27pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz was targeted 13 times in Week 2 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, finishing with 11 catches for 94 yards.

Huddle Up: Ertz's efficiency with Nick Foles at quarterback hasn't been great (16 catches for 142 yards), but his PPR owners surely don't mind. With Carson Wentz expected back soon, he should find the end zone pretty soon and is a good bet to average more than 8.9 yards per reception. Even after Alshon Jeffery gets back (and especially once Wentz returns), Ertz is an every-week start at tight end in fantasy.

  • Posted: 9/6/2018 11:08pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz tallied five receptions for 48 yards against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Huddle Up: Ertz led the team in receiving yards and tied with with Nelson Agholor with 10 targets, but a 5-48-0 line isn't what fantasy owners were hoping for out of a top-five player at the position. Give credit to the Falcons, which have some good coverage LBs that helped hold Ertz in check. Brighter days should be ahead for the sixth-year TE.

  • Posted: 8/7/2018 6:35am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (undisclosed) returned to practice Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Huddle Up: Ertz is a good TE1 target, but he has a lengthy injury history. That's something to consider when taking him.

  • Posted: 8/6/2018 9:15am ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz (undisclosed) is not participating in practice Monday, Aug. 6, and has missed three straight practices.

Huddle Up: Owners should keep an eye on the situation to see what injury is keeping Ertz out of practice. He will be a popular target in the passing game this season if healthy and should be a solid No. 1 option for owners in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/5/2018 4:38pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz is not participating in practice Sunday, Aug. 5. Ertz missed practice Friday, Aug. 3, because he was given a rest day.

Huddle Up: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Ertz is dealing with any type of injury or is just getting some time off. Ertz has become one of the better tight ends in the NFL and will be a solid No. 1 option in all leagues.
