Mark Cannizzaro, of the New York Post, reports Jets WR Wallace Wright could see more reps as a slot receiver after the team traded WR Chansi Stuckey to the Cleveland Browns for WR Braylon Edwards. Wright had developed strong chemistry with QB Mark Sanchez during training camp.

The Huddle Take: Edwards and Jerricho Cotchery are both bigger, more phyiscal receivers, so a speed guy in the slot would offer a nice complement in the Jets' passing game. Wright would certainly be a candidate to fill that role, though how frequently a third receiver will be on the field for a run-first team like the Jets remains to be seen.
